I walk around Hatfield and take a rest in this cafe. It make me feels good, because there are airconditioners. There are a lot drinks menu and you can ask for alcohol-free drinks. The taste is normally good. You can ask for wifi passwork. And toilets are grand and clean. (if everyone keep it clean and dry)

Great service delivery. I loved the food. We had the grilled calamari. We were also just in time for rush hour, when selected cocktails are R45. It was an enjoyable lunch! I really enjoyed the relish on the chips. Divine!

It is a great place to spent the afternoon 😌 we had tapas and was more then enough for two 😌 the Mojito was Amazing can’t complain and for our experience Audencio the Waiter was more then 5 stars ⭐️ we’re happy

I think I made a mistake for not enquiring about the size/portions. It was quite small but I enjoyed the chicken breast.

Went there to grab lunch with a friend and it was a good experience. Cocktails taste as they look, food was 10/10 and our waiter Pedro and his trainee took good care of us their service was very attentive and precise. The music as well just gave it 5 stars as a round up great choice in that. Will be back sometime.

It’s always a good time whenever i go to newscafe hatfield. I really enjoy their breakfast special 😉 and cocktails 🍹. The atmosphere is always amazing at anytime of the day. The service is great, friendly staff. I definitely recommend this place.

Beautiful place, great atmosphere. not too loud.<br/>One of my favorite places in Hatfield to get a burger. Quite an extensive list of drinks to choose from. Their side plates are always enjoyable. Great service, would definitely go again....and again and again

Very speedy and friendly service. I went during lunch hour and it was quite busy but I felt my milkshake came so quickly, in about 8 minutes. It was so rushed. My mikshake wasn't that good but I prefer other news cafes.

My friend and I were in the mood for something meaty, so we ended up ordering the top seller platter. The food was of good quality, cooked to perfection and not overly seasoned and sauced. We paired up the platter with strawberry daiquiri cocktails, which were extremely sweet for us. The service was exceptional. The place is gorgeous at night, however the vibe/atmosphere there was unpleasant, we felt very uncomfortable and had to leave as soon as we were done eating.

Just so average. Ask for sauce on the side and it comes on top, salad had a bruised tomato, waitress doesn’t know the menu etc. Ok for doing some work or in between meetings though.

Must say this News Cafe has a very nice layout and having moved across the street from it's original location has not had a detrimental effect on business it seems. I ordered the Nachos Con Pollo...a bit pricey and a bit skimpy on the chicken but very tasty. The music was a bit loud in my ears...maybe I was seated by the speaker. Overall worth a visit.

The service was good,I could not flaw it. The drinks where too sweet for my liking. The manager however offered us complimentary shots (thanks). The place was just too messy my friend and I didn't spend a single minute right after eating we paced out of there. The vibe was too uncomfortable for us. The food was okay. Something I could make at home

The News Cafe breakfast special is definitely worth a try! The service was very friendly and quick. The restaurant is spacious and generous and the menu looked appealing. I also had a hot chocolate which was very tasty and attractive. I will definitely be back to try out the other food on the menu!<br/>

Probably the closest place to campus where you can have a meeting. Chilled atmosphere, good food and the service is standard. When I was there they had just revamped their look and menu and I tried something that was kinda like a Benedict but on these other slow cooked crumbed pork things it was so good but I see they changed their menu again and have now gone Mexican. Don't really mind Mexican food is growing on me.

Nice chill out place considering there's no where else to chill in Hatfield. The burgers are amazing, just too pricey. The whole menu is a bit too steep actually. The service is poor, the waiters take a while to attend to you. Otherwise I enjoyed the burgers and the vibe.
