The Place Cafe & Grill

We went for lunch & had so much fun. Great service & delicious food. I got to order something I ate a while ago which wasn't on the menu now & it was still worth it. Love love love The Place!

Came here for dinner with my sisters before a concert . We’ve always frequented this place but they have now moved locations . The inconvenient thing about the new location is that the bathrooms are outside the restaurant and not inside like the previous location .

The atmosphere is very laid back. The decor is slightly underwhelming and doesn’t match the great taste of the food . The service is pretty good,our waiter was super friendly . But it was quite a wait from when we finished eating to when she came to ask if we wanted dessert or the bill. To eat I ordered the 600g ribs with chips and a bottle of Chardonnay. For the first time ever I was thoroughly impressed with the chips .I always find the meat the highlight and the chips to be too crispy . The ribs were a bit too sweet but still tasted really good . My sisters had the oxtail and the chicken cordon bleu. And drink the one had two of the speciality cocktails the Cathrine Comfort and the Maitay . I had a sip of each,they’re definitely not for the beer lovers ,a bit too sweet.
They should definitely improve on the cooling of the food before they serve it . We had to wait for quite a while for our food to cool down before eating .

Besides a few glitches ,this a great place (no pun intended 😂) and would absolutely recommend it .

We have been going to The Place for many years and never had a poor meal. Their food is excellent and the menu is extensive. Service is good but fairly slow which does not worry us as we go there to connect with family and friends. Jason is the best waiter we have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. Excellent value for money!
