The owner is super helpful & friendly. Their bread is homemade! Their salad is organic! The chicken strips I ordered were large, crispy & succulent. The also cater for functions. The garden is well kept & tranquil. The restaurant is large inside with a choice of private tables, couches or tables & chairs. They even have a library & art hanging on the walls. This is definitely a hidden gem in Silverton! The entrance is a bit hidden so be sure to look out for the black gate on the side walk.

What an amazing time. We held our daughters Kitchen tea party there. Fanie went out of his way with the food, etc. Thank you so much. People can most definitely pop in there for delicious food and a great atmosphere 😊

Difficult place to find, but makes up with good food and friendly service. For our group it was well suited for the 50th wedding anniversary celebrations for family and friends, children included. The menu: Butternut soup with a Thai twist and memorable oxtail that gently stewed in the oven overnight in a stout, served on savoury rice and a scatterling of grean beans to brighten the plate! Desert: fruitcake- provided by the guest of honour Special celebration to remember by friends and family - thank you Lion's Den!

I had some of the most special meals prepared, from baked bread & butter, to steak and veggies and the most tasty Malva pudding!! The manager and chef really put their hearts into the preparation of the food! I had a great time with my fellow colleagues at our year end function! Beatifull place. Ideal for small to medeum size events. Unique decor. Warm and cosey atmosphere. Great food well presented. Portions are of good size. Staff are very friendly but does take a bit longer to get your food for it is freshly made per order.. food are a bit pricy but worth it.
