It is always a good time to go to Eastwoods to chill and unwind. The cocktails are a bit on the pricier side. A tip would be to wait till 16h00 for the specials. The atmosphere is nice, great for pictures. It's a huge space, and each section has a different feel to it. The aesthetics are brilliant. One thing I didn't like, though, was the number of flies we had once the food came. And the menu is so limited, would have loved for more variety. Other than that, I would definitely recommend it.

No one at the entrance for welcoming. Menu was such a turn off because most of the items were not on the menu which was very disappointing. They must just remove the items that are not available. The food was very blend. Super boring. Only 1 starch served with your stew, no veggies, had to order aside. Drinks were amazing. Dessert was not bad, malva was a bit stale but custard was amazing. All in all I could rate this place 3 out of 5. Not forgetting their hubbly price, it is way too much no ways. Looking at the way things were, many people couldn’t order due to the crazy price.

This place is amazing, very clean aswell. Great atmosphere and it's got a vibe, great music, and the service from the waiters are superb. Though it was quite difficult finding a seat but hey, who wouldn't want to be there for some good vibes and cold beers. My only disappoint was the ladies toilets, only 1 toilet was working we had to wait a long que.

I loooove what they've done to the place. Great improvement between 2017 to 2023. It's grown into a proper lounge. Oh yes! I also like that they have an option of hot beverages, which are usually not part of the choices at most lounges. The fire place! The music volume! The sectioning of the types of vibes. Wow.👌. No longer one size fits all, because it doesn't. They understood the assignment.

An energetic and fun spot with plenty of TVs tuned into the sports channels, and a variety of social spaces with a terrace, bars, cosy relaxation area and dining rooms. Expect plenty of people, all busy enjoying themselves. The food is basic but enjoyable. This is a great place to watch football or rugby. It will usually be packed on Matchday at Loftus Versfeld stadium, which is just over the road.

We went to Eastwood for a farewell dinner of one of my colleague. We got there around 2pm and left at 8pm. I didn’t like the guy who was serving us, he goes away for the longest time without even checking us. We also got our food late because of How he was all over. The food is delicious and there’s a great ambiance. The drinks are great too and there’s always a good special for the day. I also enjoyed their music and how the music transitioned from one song to the other. Kuddos to the Dj.

If you’re a student in Pretoria or just a local, you’ve heard of Eastwoods and their cocktail specials. This place is off the chain! The atmosphere is crazy fun during weekends especially and on days with live sport. Have a walk around and check out the effort done outside in terms of decorations and enjoy the company of people you love to spend the most time (and get responsibly drunk) with.

I am not satisfied at all with Eastwoods team. It used to be one of my favorite places to hang aroubd with my family & friends every 2saturday of the month, but thus place has its services downgraded, u wait so long to be assisted, especially if you are seating at the bar, waiters not organized at all. Its unfortunately a disgrace, last saturday i went to have a Tbone me and my friend and i was drinking Savanna cider by the bottle and i was charged R35 for my 4 bottle's i drank, service was pathetic as i still had to ask 3 different waiters to find my waiter and bring us more drinks. I have escalated this matter to management but till today i haven't receive any feedback whatsoever. I will definitely not recommend this place to nobody as its services have downgraded. Im truly dissapointed.

What an amazing experience! I love the vibe and the atmosphere. It's very different, one would never think it's so different when you walk by outside. The vintage VWs outside used as table setup was an amazing idea. It's refreshing and one would forget they are in pretoria. I had pizza, it was fairly okay, not the best I've had.

Ordered a kilo of chicken wings. This is clearly not what was expected. 10 small wings and none of which were peri-peri as stated in the menu. Both the waiter and manager had no interest in our query and complaint. Would strongly discourage anyone from dining here. Great dissatisfaction at best. Terrible service and even worse food.

Perfect place to watch sport and have a drink with friends. Their food and drinks are really reasonably priced. They have some the cheapeast and widest variety of cocktails around Pretoria. Their food is fine (except the chef does not know the difference between medium and well done).The one really negative thing is their service. They do not have enough waiters. We waited over an hour before our waiter attended to us. Which is fine if you don't mind ordering drinks from the bar and just relaxing.

This place has so much potential but they go after value and not quality. I brought a few clients out for lunch here today. The service was not great to say the least but at least the food made up for it. Probably one of the better steak places around. It's a sports pub but the service could have been a bit better. Food comes out at different times and makes it uncomfortable when you have guests. I had a T-Bone and it was delicious. Plenty of mid week specials but I won't be back in a hurry.

Now this is a place I really underestimated outside looking in as I passed all the years I was in varsity.<br/><br/>I finally went to have a drink with a business client and I must say it blew me away, it's like a luxury meets pub meets new skool vibe with over three seating areas from the bar stool, to the street facing deck to the lounge area in the back <br/><br/>I didn't have a meal but I thoroughly enjoyed my No 3 Fransen Street Creamy Ale (the best beer ever man THEE VERY BEST) and the service at the bar was warm and welcoming however the I was disappointed when the beer ran out :(<br/><br/>I must say I really appreciated the manager exchanging my beer when a fly flew into it with an Irish Ale by the same beer brand.<br/><br/>Definitely need to return for the food to update my review!

The vibe and setting is great! But the service was rude, very slow, we waited more than a half and hour for 2 drinks. Waited even longer than that for food. The pizzas werent great, the dough was raw even though the bottom was burnt.

I loved this place the minute I walked. That vibe was so cool. We then found out cocktails were half price till 20:00 and that just made me so happy. They had such a great selection on cocktails. So many options to choose from. The cocktails were sweet just the way I like them. The food was also very good. I had the 500g pork ribs and they were so delicious. They were a lot and I couldn't finish them. But really impressed by this place. Definitely coming back again

From a non biased view as a chef working in the same industry. The service was decent, the waitress was friendly and worked hard. My steak was well priced and well cooked. However I had to ask my waitress if they tend to over cook the steaks. She said yes and that's why I ordered mine rare. So I had a perfect medium rare but everyone else's steaks were over cooked. Eastwoods is central and offers a non-complicated dining experience. The ideal "kuier-plek". Their menu offers anything from great steaks to decadent desserts. Their cocktail special (my kombi) is a great and enjoyable treat and they have happy hour from 15:00 to 18:00 gives you 1/2 price on all cocktails. In my view: tasty food, worth a try and walk away satisfied and money well spent. They are now on my favorites-list!

To be honest, I have only ever been here before or after a game at Loftus, and typically the place is then packed with extremely enthusiastic Blou-Bul fans fueling themselves with the only liquid accepted by these types of engines - Brandewyn and Coke. This is basically the meeting place for all Loftus-goers.

I was extremely disappointed with the entire experience at eastwoods over the weekend. We arrived to spend the evening there and was immediately told that we had to pay R200 for parking. Upon informing the staff that we require disabled parking, we just got waived away and told there is none. Eventually after parking and making the trek to the entrance we were told that there is cover charge of another R50. The initial service of the waiter was shocking to say the least. After receiving our drinks were were outraged to discover that a margarita pizza (no toppings) was R95.00 and it was not even the standard large size pizza! That by the way was one of the cheapest things on the menu. After recovering from my heart attack we decided to finish our drinks and spent the night elsewhere!

We made a booking for a football game and all was confirmed. We arrive and due to a rugby game being on are told that its R200 to park and then R50 to enter, so we would have dropped R1200 before we even ordered our first drink. We where NOT told this over the phone but they insisted they did. Laughable. 2 rude managers literally said if you don't like it leave. The lady manager is a rude obnoxious belligerent commoner. We will leave, and never go back, and make sure we let everyone know what you think of customers... 😉

I used to love Eastwoods. It was one od my favourite pubs to watch the rugby at, especially if there was a big game at Loftus, unfortunately the service of late has been so poor, I can see myself going back there anytime soon. <br/><br/>I understand the poor service if they are busy, but the last time I went there was a quiet Sunday. The place appeared to be dirty and my food was burned. I waited 30min for my bill and 15 for my drinks.

Went to Eastwoods on a Friday for some steak and chips - the 500g T-bone is on special on Fridays with free chicken livers or onion rings. I took the chicken livers which was unexpectedly good, went well as a dip for the chips :) food was good, we just struggled to hear our friends under the loud music that played from the time we got there at 8:30pm.. Suppose we are getting old ;) good value, slow service on busy nights

Last 2 time we were there the waiters on both occasions got our orders wrong, had ridiculous waiting periods (as 1h 20min for a cocktail) and our food was burned! And the flies! <br/><br/>On both occasions the manager came to apologize and gave us a drink on the house but i do feel that at some stage they need to make some serious changes before i will ever go back.

Bar meets Good food. <br/><br/>Several restaurant/bar establishments exist in Pretoria, however not all are successful. Eastwoods has achieved this with some success and being located on such a prominent corner all they really have to keep up is the service. <br/><br/>Great for a pub lunch or a quick drink after work this restaurant turns into a full blown bar as the evening progresses. I can recommend the T bone special for lunch and I have had the Pepper crust fillet. <br/><br/>It is unfortunately not entirely my atmosphere, but most people seem to enjoy it.

If you are looking for a great night out with a dance floor this is the place . Parking is limited . There is a big variety on the menu regarding the food . Service is fast and everyone is always willing to help. This venue has an outside area on both sides .Great for a summer day . Most of the time Eastwoods are buzzing with people from morning till late at night . Parking might be a problem most of the time .

Good food, good service.<br/><br/>If you're thinking of buying a bottle of Spirit there... Don't! Unless you're planning on a good night out. Average price on a bottle of booze is almost double/bottle! I can't say whether that's the norm though... Never gotten close to finishing a bottle on a night out! 😉<br/><br/>Outside seating was definitely a bit chilly, but nothing that couldn't be remedied by a good standing gas heater. Good thing there wasn't a wind! <br/><br/>Our waiter was attentive and friendly. Alot of the other ones that were standing around looked more interested in horse play amongst each other than paying attention professional service. <br/><br/>Enough booze and none of that would make a difference though. 😂

Some of my old school friends and I meet up at Eastwoods now and then. I have no complaints about the food, but the drink prices are rediculous unless you go for the specials. I'm giving eastwoods a 3.5/5 purely because the steak I had the last time I was there was glorious.

So the world cup rugby is approaching and this is the place to watch some good rugby at the same time have some great food to go with. The venue is amazing very specious and meets all your "venue" needs from upstairs to downstairs seating, to executive and also casual outside seating. The restaurant is warm inside and outside because of there heaters gas and wood fire. I mostly enjoyed the burgers (patty) which are filling.This is good place to hang out with the boys watching sports while you feast away and enjoy the wide variety of alcohol to drink.

Friday night was freezing (Pretoria standards), but Eastwoods was warm with gas heaters, open fire places and the promise of a congenial evening ahead. It was packed, inside and out with an interesting mix of Pretoria's population: young students & elegant, dressed up or more casual older people. Drink orders came promptly and our waiter was caring & friendly<br/>My Chilli Poppers: delicious with enough-but-not-too-much bite, generous Cheddar and Cream Cheese filling.<br/>Missing the point was my Grilled Calamari Tubes with Lemon Butter sauce. They were rubbery and swimming in a thin liquid.<br/>My son's T-bone was perfectly cooked with mouthwatering Pap & Seshebo.<br/>No wonder the place is packed weather the wheather is fine or not<br/>:)

WORST service ever with the most INCOMPETENT waiter ever! After waiting for 20min, a waiter comes and takes the menu's from our table without greeting. Then ater another 10min someone else comes to take our order but brings Lemonade when asked for Soda water, they then bring well done steak when we ordered rare. And after complaining, even the manager gives us attitude... #WorstRestaurant #PatheticService
