Absolutely one of the best butchery experiences you will ever have in your life. Museum and butchery in one and you dont even have to pay to go in! The owner has a stunning collection of history in display to see while you queue for their famous pies and superb meat. There are old tractors, cars, stoves, cameras, typing machines, sewing machines, lamps and all sorts of historic contraptions on display along with historic flags and signs. As it is a museum the flags on display are to showcase our rich history. The pies are simply the best. period. The meat quality is excellent and well priced. This place is worth the drive from anywhere in Gauteng as an outing to stock up on meat. It can get busy so go early.

Loved it. Best meat pies in the country. You can eat while youre driving. No mess like with other pies with puff pastry. Very nice
One of the biggest Toy Car exhibitions, in S.A... and housed inside a Butchery. Their Pies, are very popular with Pretoria people, but not my cup of tea. Very dry and bland. Their meat at the Butchery, is expensive 👎🤔😒
What a place to visit. A real place of history. A real boere and peaceful atmosphere. Like a farming ivironment in the centre of Pretoria. It is a place that must be visited especially if you have never been there yet. I have never seen such a great private collection of house and farming equipment from the past and much much more. The bakery bakes the best pies, biscuits and many more that I have ever tasted. The butchery sells the best meat that you can wish for at the best prices. And then you can also have a wonderful meal 'to die' for at the restaurant. ATM's available inside the restaurant and butchery. A butchery and restaurant that must be visited. Enjoy your visit.
This should be a heritage sight for everyone to see and a must for any antique lover, you will be amazed by all the old decor and get a bit nostalgic by just admiring uncle Pat's great collection. Then you will get to try their famous "maders" pie , witch is a sausage roll made with real boerewors ! They have a complete butchery with fresh and good quality meat and reasonable prices, staff is always friendly and service is relatively fast
