I had a lovely time there. Food was very good and service was excellent. The environment of the restaurant is very relaxing and quiet. It is surrounded by nature which creates a relaxing atmosphere. Good place for people that love to be surrounded by nature.

Set in the Pretoria National Botanical Garden, the location of The Milkplum Cafe can't be easily bettered. Lovely shady outside area under huge old trees.
Easy eating, casual cafe food in home cooked style. Friendly service even though they were busy on a Saturday morning after Park Run.
My favourite was a delicious freshly squeezed cucumber, apple & fresh ginger drink.
Perfect place for a bite after lazy weekend walks.

What an awesome surprize. Amazing setting and even better food. Will definitely be going back and telling my friends. Affordable. Well prepared and well presented. Moses was our waiter and really aimed to please. Compliments to the Chef?

Lovely place. Enjoyed the company of friends and a beautiful environment. Good good, good friendly service. I hate flies. They were circling our food. Do something about this and you will get 5 stars from me. Very popular place. Lots of people. Saw a lot of photographers during our journey through this massive garden. Family fun place for everyone.

Fantastic service, beautiful surrounds and amazing portion size. Just be aware that you will need to pay entrance to the park before you can get to the restaurant.

Simply love this hidden spot inside the Botanical gardens. And the service is simply EXCELLENT. Great for nature lovers who want a quick escape in the city. We often enjoy a coffee and snack after a hike at the gardens

Very nice atmosphere amongst the beautiful plants and trees of the Botanical Garden Menu has a generous selection, albeit a tad on the pricy side when considering the portion size. A nice stop after the parkrun.
