A proper local's favourite. I happened to stumble across this place and decided to give it a try. The food was absolutely delicious, you can truly taste the authenticity of each dish and can tell this is owned by a true Italian!

Looking for tasty Italian food in Pretoria can be a tricky experience. Most don't cater for our selective palate. This restaurant always delivers on taste, service and friendliness. Fabio and Sam don't just serve food to you. They provide you with an Italian experience that makes you want to come back for more.

The pasta is top notch and clearly made with fresh ingredients and a healthy dose of love. I don't think many competitors can compete with that.

Such a special place.... Authentic Italian cuisine and feels like home. The hosts are so friendly, helpful and passionate about their dishes. Truly a must visit and they even have 1 meter pizzas!!! By the way, you've never had real pizza if you haven't had their's!!!

Absolutely in love with this little gem.

We ordered take-out from Ristorante L'Isola and the order was swiftly prepared, the owner was friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. As good, if not better than any dishes I had in Italy.

For an authentic Italian experience (where focus is on the food and not all the gimmicky bells and whistles), give this eatery a try.

Had a quick lunch at this lovely eatery on Tuesday (which is their pizza special day - half price) so we skipped the pizza and went for the Tagliata Rucola e Grana (I obviously had to revisit the menu for this spelling) and Lasagne (one of my favourite dishes). The Tagliata is thinly sliced, medium rare sirloin on rocket topped with a balsamic reduction. This dish is simply superb. The lasagne was good, but I've had better for cheaper. I really enjoyed the service. Will definitely go back to try the rest of the menu.

Visited this lovely place on Saturday evening. First visit and didn't know what to expect. We got a table in their garden area which was perfect because of the warm weather and it set a romantic mood. Found it difficult to choose off of the menu because it all looked so good. The chef gave us a list of the chefs choice, which confused us even more because he gave us even more great options. In the end my boyfriend went for the veal with pasta on the side and I went for heart shaped ravioli in a bacon sauce.

The pasta is homemade and tastes delish!! Try this place out

What an amazing Italian restaurant. We had a special order of a whole roasted piglet, which was absolutely delicious. The starters are all amazing and I can highly recommend the gorgonzola snails and the arancini balls. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. Definitely have a chat about his restaurant and history.

Authentic Italian goodness. And if you go on Tuesdays it’s half price pizza. The venue is a cozy house with a good wine selection including some imported Italian. Service is friendly. Make sure to reserve a spot here as it gets busy, especially on the aforementioned Tuesdays. Also: Try the Gelato!

I HIGHLY recommend Fabio’s Was my second encounter at Fabio’s. The true test of a pizzeria is to test a Margarita, there is no toppings to hind behind and WoW dit it deliver. We had both options available and it did not fail. The true Italian cuisine options are true to the roots and especially the in season menu changed daily. See you again soon.

Best pizza in Pretoria, hands down! Ordered 3 pizzas - the Quattro Stagioni (always a favourite), the Italia and the Cristiano on Valentine’s Day. Delivered hot and fresh and my goodness they DID NOT disappoint! Definitely the best pizzas in Pretoria- by far. And believe me- we eat a lot of pizza and have tried many different places.
