Okay, so I've been on a mission to find the best pizza in Pretoria. A cut-throat task, I know. Nevertheless, I've traveled to the furthest corners of our beautiful city. And just as I was about to give up, I stumbled apon Woodstock. Finally. Thank you. Not only is your pizza the best I've ever tasted, but the décor, service and old school music made this old soul feel right at home. My food baby salutes you!

Don't even think twice. Just go and visit the place already as a few words in a little review on Facebook won't do the pizzas justice. I can however definitely recommend the "Namasté Her And Have A Pizza" as one of the best combos on a pizza in a long time!

We decided we were in the mood for some Mexican food and found this place. What a treat! I really loved the decor of the place, from the pictures on the windows, to the way to room was painted and furnished, and the cutlery and crockery that were used (these item particularly reminded me of old farmhouse crockery and cutlery). It all gave it such a fun, relaxed, familiar feel. The staff were wonderful and super friendly. The food was fantastic! I had Pulled Pork Nachos and my boyfriend had a Beef Enchilada. Both delicious! Super cheesy! Very satisfying and not bad on the pocket. We ended the night off with some churros with chocolate sauce, also wonderful! They have craft beer and cocktails also available. Will definitely be going back again sometime :)

Its a lovely spot to meet up after work. They have a small selection of wines. Their food is rather rich but it is authentic which ia great. Sitting outside you can smoke and it has a nice view of the intersection. Also good for a lazy Sunday afternoon. If you are sensitive to sugar DO NOT have their frozen Margaritas. Its a jug of sugar. Awesome. But very very unhealthy. I like the vibe. The chilled decor and minimalistic crockery. Its a cool and different spot.

Cute decor... Very festive and fun...even with sambreros to take a picture or two. The margaritas are on too, so a super quick service. They have specials most nights, and happy hour Monday to Friday. We were there on a Saturday night. It's sad that the outside tables gets the noise from the road so we moved halfway in. We had cocktails and also dome craft beer on tap. All very enjoyable. The food was yummy, chimmichanga, enchiladas and tacos (the tacos was the least popular at out table). Poppers were great too, cream cheese filled. Dessert, we tried both dishes that they have on the menu, the nachos didn't have enough sauce on the bottom layers, we had to ask for extra sauce, and churros isn't in the traditional shape (and no sugar coating?)..... But enjoyable either way. very attentive waiter... "mash potatoes".

Love the food. the new management is making this place great again. Staff is amazing by making you feel at home. My mom had a wonderful time with her friends and family on her birthday. Thank you Johan (new owner) for everything.

ARIBA! ARIBA! ANDALE! Probably one of the BEST texmex food places I have been to in quite a while! Wonderfully colourful interior with unique painted tables. The menu is varied & reasonably priced. I can HIGHLY recommend the frozen margaritas. The jalapeno poppers are ZINGY! The staff is well versed in dealing with large groups & offered separate bills without being prompted. Everyone's accounts were in order at the end of the meal and there was none of the usual "Guys - who had the third chimichanga???" shenanigans that group dining usually results in. Can't wait to visit again and will most certainly tell others about this cultural & culinary fiesta!

Jo Mexican has been one of my favourite neigborhood restaurants since opening its doors a few years ago. The quality of food, beverages and personal attention to service jas remained consistent through time. I highly recommend the Chimichanga, Burritos and Tacos. True to form, the Jalapeño Poppers are spicy but the remainder of dishes are mildly spiced. Additional Almost Death Sauce may be requested by diners with a scorching apetite. The frozen and also the shaken Margaritas are sublime, but a fully stocked bar, craft and draft beers cater to other preferences. Generous portions at a reasonable price served in upbeat, colourful surroundings.

Very friendly waitress who delivered a fast and easy service. Outdoor seating was really nice with a view of the vibrant streets. Our meals were delicious, enjoyed with a cocktail and good company. We did not have to wait long for our food to arrive at all. Had a great experience. A tad bit pricy but worth it!

Very nice food and the portion sizes are pretty generous. It is a bit more costly, especially considering the ingredients required to make the food are not that expensive. The meat quality is average, however the end product is nice. I suggest going here if you want something a little different from a burger and chips. I would suggest the poppers as a starter, because the wings are a little wild in flavour. The Nachos are excellent and generous, rather for two people than for one. Overall a very pleasant experience and would go back again.
