Excellent fish and chips with a unique batter. Their seafood is all awesome. Very well prepared and not oily. Fresh and delicious. The service was speedy and all were staff efficient and helpful. They do takeaways or sitdown, the location is nice, right on Stanley Street. Try their Battered Hake and Chips, or their Calamari Tubes. Delicious.

What a wonderful restaurant, small, quiet and excellent food. After they had no ice cream in the Nolio restaurant and no place for us in the Backstreet Grill we were welcomed warmly in the Gypsy restaurant. The service was excellent and we will come back for sure. Thanks Micha and Uta

What an underrated eatery. We had the lamb scharwma, and o my soul it was devine! Perfect combination of taste, a whole lot of lamb and saucy. They have a lovely outside area the service was impeccable. Side note, they even have plug points to charge your phone by two of their tables. Do yourself a favor and go indulge in some good food.

Absolutely delicious! We shared the Falafel shawarma with salad and the lightly battered hake fish. Both were full of flavor, fresh, and just what we were looking for. Very happy that we came here. Staff were very friendly as well!

I absolutely love shawarmas and these are the most authentic shawarmas I have tasted in a long time. I had the lamb and my partner had the chicken but they were equally good. The portion sizes are very big, and I think it’s good value for money for the taste and the quantity of food. I ordered takeout, but this lovely restaurant does have a sit in option where you enjoy your meal. I saw an elderly couple enjoying their fish with a glass of wine and the fish looked equally enjoyable!
