I’ve been there about 6/7 times now and have never been dissatisfied or disappointed. The food has been fresh and fantastic every time and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The restaurant is very comfortable and the heaters are so lovely on a cold day!

I spent a few hours here meeting friends on a recent trip to Port Elizabeth. Service was slow but accommodating and the food was lovely and warm when it was served. Service can be improved but that was about the only fault I could find.

Excellent food. Wonderful value for money and no extra charge for great service. Rump and sirloin were succulent and correct to order. Calamari, tender and moist. The pepper sauce, although split, was full of flavour. Come and eat here soon - I’m not sure how they are still making a profit or long they can stay open

The meals are tasty and the prices are very low. The desserts are very good and they are decadent and addictive. The local is beautiful and the setup is classy and elegant but the venue is rather small and there is no restroom available. There are specials which are a common attraction and these are graced by wonderful wines. The dessert selection mainly cakes are good portions and mouth watering.

Love coming here. Staff always great. One waiter is phenominal though. Llloyd is exceptional and you should take great care of him. I visit many venues and he provides stand out service. Food is also great value for money. Keep up the good work.

Food was amazing, staff great and pricing was reasonable. All of the staff wore their marks properly (covering their mouths and noses). We went to 3 restaurants in Baywest before Café Rousse and the staff at the other restaurants were not complying with the Covid 19 regulations. Well done, Café Rousse!
