Went to Fine Time for a cousins birthday dinner. Some of the best steaks I have ever eaten, melt in your mouth and perfectly cooked. And the roasted veggies that come with the meals🤤. Above the food, our waitress was friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable about the food, all her recommendations were spot on.
Thank you for a wonderful experience.
Superb food with a good atmosphere. The calling in the kitchen was a bit loud at times.
If you like hot stuff give the home made chili sauce a go. Not for the feint hearted, but oh so tasty!!!
My first time here was amazing (before the alcohol ban for picture purposes). A lot of the steaks were unavailable, but we chose the fillet and it was cooked to perfection. It was a little bit of a wait, but worth it in the end. The menu is pricier than most places in PE once you made your meal up, but again, worth it.
Absolutely blown away by the quality of the food this establishment has to offer. From the outside, the nondescript restaurant is very deceiving. It is tucked into a corner in between a clothing store and designer furniture store.
But let me tell you, that was hands down the beat steak (and meal) that I have had in a very very long time. This chef knows what he’s doing!
My friends and I (a group of 3 girls) shared the Angus Bavette steak. This is served with onion rings and your choice of side. We chose the French green beans and the creamy vegetables.
We also tried the Jaffle (on brown bread of course). The mince was flavoured perfectly 👌🏽
We ended the meal off with the peppermint crisp dessert and a Rum Creme Brûlée.
Oh my word. The Creme Brûlée 🤤. Just WOW. The silkiest custard I have ever had, with just a hint of rum. So smooth over your tongue. Absolute heaven. I am still dreaming about it today 🥰
The thought put into the flavour profile of each dish is what blew me away. Every bite was magical! Please do yourself a favour and head down to the restaurant.
The food was amazing.my 2 friends had steaks and they were cooked to perfection. I had the Thai green chicken curry.... OMG it’s my number 1 in Gqeberha! Our waitress Ashly was attentive and informative. The only downfall is their furniture, the chairs are not stable, not comfortable. I get what they were going for but comfort is important. Hey
Fine Time Steak Co offers a relaxed dining experience for all carnivores. Various cuts of beef are on the menu, all served with golden, crispy and delicious onion rings and a second side of your choice. Choose from veg, salad and variations of potato dishes. The selection of sauces is amazing; oyster mushroom is wonderfully creamy and the café de paris is fresh, herby and morei-sh. As delicious as the sauces are, it's not even necessary as the steaks are flavourful and seasoned perfectly. If you love a good sauce as much as I do, go on and treat yourself. Other menu options include beef or chicken burgers, pork neck and a brisket fold over. The deserts are a mix of steakhouse classics like chocolate brownie, ice cream with chocolate sauce, and a more unique choice of chocolate pancake, and ice cream and madeira cake crumbles. This is another great restaurant where you'll be back to systematically eat your way through the entire menu.
You would just need to give them a try, no words or review could justify the quality of the food.
I would have to say this is the next place in Port Elizabeth to enjoy a good steak. You can even customize your order, so you can choose the weight and thickness of the cut you select. First restaurant I've come accross that serves lamb rump, which is delicious and perfectly prepared. My first reccomendation when looking for excellent quality steaks.
Best steak I ever had in P.E.
Excellent service. Our waiter was a young lady Excellent service. Will definitely go again.
