Great food and friendly service at this little Indian Takeaway at the Boardwalk Hotel complex. I had a divine Paneer in Red Sauce. Good vegetarian and vegan options.

If you love traditional Durban curry , this is the place to go. The mutton bunny is the real deal ! A deluge of curry gravy to soak in your bread in, combined with a lot of flavoursome curried meat. You will not be disappointed. This rates one of the best curries I’ve had. Will definitely be back.
Walked pass countless times yet somehow I found myself at the counter,and what a pleasant surprise. The friendliest and informative owner,not too bad of a wait for the amazing food that arrived. Flavorful,lovely presentation and very hearty. I will definitely be back and spread the word of this authentic Indian food being served with passion and class. A must!!
Hungry Peter really makes you hungry. Food is authentic Indian. Best Indian food available in Port Elizabeth. Indian delicacies are finger licking delicious.Service is quick and friendly. All the staff are friendly and courteous. Enjoyed the food a lot....I recommend for those who really want to eat good Indian dishes as back in India.
As usual, I always visit this little place of paradise called Hungry Peter. Each time I visit this place, my expections increase of the quality of food and the service and to my amazement, each time I visit, my expectations of the food, service and chatter is surpassed. Best tasting Indian cuisine, very friendly staff and to top it all off, food prices are extremely affordable for amazing quality and taste. I will recommend anyone that visits Port Elizabeth to make a stop, and be ready to be Mesmerized, truly a destination to add to your travels.
I have been going here regularly the past 3 years and each time is as amazing as the last. Staff is as friendly as can be, they take interest in the lives of regular customers like myself and even take note of my favourite meals, flavours and drink choice.
