I must just say THE BEST take away FISH AND CHIPS I have had in Cape Town. The Plumsteaed main road is a bit dogs but parking is safe in the Shopping centre next door. This has become a monthly treat for us and they are conveniently open till late 20h00 hours if I recall. Service is not flashy but V
The staff were really great and meal was good. The only (and big) setback was someone who came out from the back and shouted at the unfortunate door guard for letting us in, right in front of bus, even though we actually left the store before closing. The other staff were all amazing.
Old fashioned take-away. The fish and chips tasted heavenly as always.Personal attention to every customer with super sport TV to watch while waiting in the queue. Prices very reasonable.
I rank Plumstead Fisheries in my top 3 fisheries of the Southern Suburbs. They stay open the longest and their menu is quality and value for money. Great for a large family and excellent for traditional fish and chip lovers.
