Drove from Knysna as I needed a good pet friendly place for my dog and I to enjoy some great food. Had an awesome pizza, a milkshake and a green juice which was all very good. Finished off with a scoop of ice cream because I was full, but it was a lot of ice cream. Generous portions. The green country setting surrounded by trees is wonderful. There was fantastic live music to complete the perfect atmosphere. Dogs are allowed on leashes, and it is customary to pick up after your pet unless you are a piece of shift yourself, in which case stay at home rather.
Extremely friendly staff without ANY exception. 🤗 And . . . .even MORE AMAZING ICE CREAM especially the pentagon tasting.😋

This resturant/coffeeshop/children playground/whole place is really vey nice in this countryside. Children were very happy to play here in the playground. We drunk coffee latte and Americano coffee here. They were very good. It is a very good to eat and enjoy the farm-style resturant and place for the whole family. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices.
Ice Dream Land in Plettenberg Bay is a true Italian gem. I love the authenticity of their dishes. The restaurant's lovely setting adds to the overall charm, making it a delightful dining experience. The friendly service is a cherry on top, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. And let's not forget their gelato, which is out of this world! What a great place. We ended up coming back three times during our short stay.
The staff are friendly and service was good. Their pizzas are top class.
The restaurant is also pet friendly which allowed us to bring our two dogs. This is a big plus!
This is a food heaven. The pizza was great, thin crust, delicious mozzarella, and just great flavour. They've got the real Italian hot chocolate (if you haven't tried it, I can definitely recommend). The gelato is the best I've had in SA (we had the lemon and pistachio). I'll definitely come back!
A genuine Italian experience by Italians who won't compromise their food to general or popular tastes. Don't expect pineapple or bacon here. The cheese is made on premises and also sold in the small store. Red Barn beer on tap, Italian ice cream and divine pizza. A great afternoon was spent here.
We have driven past Ice Dream Land on numerous occasions, but this time we stopped to have lunch. I am so pleased we did!
The setting is lovely, the service fantastic and the food exceptional. The owners daughter explained the menu items in detail and spent time sharing the family history. There is a play area for children
We ordered a variety of items off the menu to share. Everything was fresh and delicious.
We ended off with a beautiful tiramisu and lemon sorbet ice cream and a visit to the small deli. Some of the mozzarella had to come home with us!
One of our group commented that it's the best food she's tasted (and she's traveled extensively).
Definitely on our list of go to places frim now on.
Closed in May and June each year and booking in season is recommended (specifically Sundays).
