Our favorite stop in Paternoster for hand cured sausages, meat, home baked sourdough bread, gourmet coffee and lipsmacking, fingerlicking good meals. The front yard overlooks the comings and goings of this small fishing village on the West Coast of South Africa, a mere hour's drive outside of Cape Town. Be sure to stop by this small, but utterly delightful deli and bakery during your visit.

Just had the best mushroom and truffle frittata for breakfast. Also had a pastis de nata that also excellent and good coffee. The rest of the unusual breakfast menu looked like good eating as well. Pleasant shaded outside seating at front and back. Only open for breakfast and lunch.

Wonderful little eatery with a chill garden setting and melt-in-your-mouth home-baked goodies. Don't miss the little room at the back with collectibles and t-shirts.

Wacky to say the very least but so full of character. Strangest breakfast I ever had but wonderful.

Best Breakfast and Lunch. The sourdough bread and the charcuterie is out of this world.

Loved it! So much character jammed into one cafe. It's awesome. Coffee is EXCELLENT. Croissants are delicious, on par, if not better than in France. Service was great, staff were happy, friendly people. Worth the visit!

Great bread coffee and pastries. Nice outdoor area to sit and enjoy quiet breakfast or lunch.

Best lunch we had in a long time. The food is top quality, very original and exceptionally prepared. The homemade ginger beer and Iced Tee is delightful. We had delicious Portugese milk tart afterwards. Entering this little place is like stepping back in time - home made breads of which the sourdough is divine, home made cold meats, the set up and decorations has a nice old time look and feel. Truly worth more than one visit

A good lunch spot with a cosy patio area. Great menu, with a lot of choises. My GF's toast, sadly, was burned (black). The owner was very nice about it however. It can happen, since I had the same meal and was happy with mine (looked a lot better). Prices are above average, but quality of the food seems to follow...
