Decided to give this a try, and we were not disappointed at all. We were a walk-in and were very welcomed. Drinks were quickly served as was the mains, which were 2 steaks and a burger. Besides the food. The venue was incredible, picturesque mountains and a polo field were some horses that could be seen. It does get rather full from 19h30 as many residents head here for dinner. This does add some wait but doesn't deter from the overall experience at all. Limited cocktail menu, but what they have, they are great at. Give it a try and experience
We dined for my baby sister’s 18th birthday. The food and the atmosphere was great. We also had a great customer service. What a beautiful place!😍
saturday brunch! enjoy a beautiful polo game and start you day with a G&T or some bubbles. you will get some bakerys first, then you can choose between some breakfast meals or already lunch meal. we were about 5 people and all of them had a delicious meal. i can highly recommend this place! the food would be also available online for delivery :)
A gastronomic delight.Hidden within the Val de Vie estate.
Comparable to the Best in the world.
Big Up to Ashenka Back and Raphael Back for an amazing evening of pure delight.photos speak for itself...
I went there last Saturday to visit a friend and we went to the Pavilion for lunch. I ordered the BEETCRUST PIZZA Roasted beetroot and flour based dough with basil pesto, a variety of Fairview cheeses topped with a fresh seasonal salad, mix nuts and balsamic reduction. And what a delicious pizza it was. Because of the balsamic reduction the base looses its crunchiness but it was delicious. All the many ingredients blended so well together that every mouthful was a new amazing experience. They had a fire going which made it nice and cozy. All the staff was most attentive and friendly. What a great experience in beautiful surroundings.
Chef Scott Hendrie has devised a fantastic menu. The food was excellent and very beautifully presented. House wine and champagne were also excellent and good value for money. The Polo Club restaurant also has a pleasant ambience.
I love the atmosphere The Polo Pavilion by Back’s offer. My go-to for take-away pizza at least twice a week. In addition, the bar area offers a fantastic setting for enjoying drinks with my friends during our girls' night out. All in all, it's the ideal destination for a memorable and enjoyable evening.
Great restaurants. I got the butter chicken curry but they had run out of roti so they can us wraps toasted cut into 4. If I knew this I would of changed my meal. Others meals looked good.
Oh what an amazing secluded Bistro. Showcasing some of Fairviews finest wines and produce. They hae an absolutely stunning view of the polo field, giving the atmosphere a ten out ten. Here one can enjoy a glass of wine, paired with a meal of your choice, while watching a nice game of polo... I'll definitely be going back there with a loved one.
The Polo Pavilion is a hidden gem that deserves to be celebrated. From the warm and welcoming staff to the extraordinary food, this place is truly worth the drive from Cape Town.
