Probably the most frequently recommended restaurant as a visitor to Paarl and it’s easy to understand why. It doesn’t disappoint and is a really great culinary experience. Service is tip top and the venue itself is really classy.
I sat inside and upstairs and it’s certainly a quieter classy dining experience. I loved it.
There’s outside seating for more atmosphere.
A very impressive wine list.
Great chef specials and knowledgeable waiters.
Food is on the pricey side. Starters are R100-R150 and mains mostly north off R200 but it’s justified.
Must do if you in town visiting.
Really warm, homely feel in this restaurant. A lot of daily specials, look out for the board. Well prepared, although slightly rich food but still tasty. Will definitely try this restaurant again.
Probably one of the tastiest dinners I've ever had.
What a gem hidden in Paarl!
I had the carpaccio, dumplings and tuna for starters, each was full of flavour and prepared close to perfection.
For main I had the springbok sirloin, which came fresh from the owners farm, and it was the tastiest game I had in South Africa. Paired with a sensible serving of truffle gnocchi - 10/10!
We had a wonderful dinner here. We ordered some of the chef’s special dishes and were not disappointed. The service was also excellent - thanks to Tania our waitress! Highly recommended
WOW! A unique dining experience in breathtaking surroundings!
Outstanding meal. Best in Paarl. Excellent wine list and the specials are top notch
Went for lunch there on the public holiday and thoroughly enjoyed it. From the quite and confident service to the excellent food, ambience and extensive wine list, an experience worthwhile. As we normally do we had an array of starters, so as to sample as many different dishes as we could. The duck dumplings really stood out and the seared tuna was brilliant! The wagyu burger that one of the boys had was delicious too! We decided to sample only 3 of the desserts and we'll done to the chef for getting the creme Brule spot on! The perfect combination of silky smooth and creamy, not too gelatinous but just enough to hold it together, and the contrast of the crispy burnt sugar to top it off! Delicious! It was a touch pricy - but then again, you pay for quality. Definitely will be back.

If you are looking for a little bit of a more fancy dining experience, Noop is the restaurant to visit. With daily chef specials, there is always something for everyone's taste. The seafood risotto was rich, creamy and filling and the couverture chocolate tart had just the right amount of rock salt to offset the sweet from the chocolate. Noop is even pet friendly and you can enjoy a wonderful afternoon together with your furbabies.
The restaurant is beautiful and warm for a wonters evening. The food is interesting and the excellent. Best if the evening was the seafood soup and the seared tuna. The lamb was also excellent. And never miss the abelone!
Service was descent, but the food was exceptional. Had calamari starters while for mains we had the kabeljou and fillet. Was perfectly executed along with an impressive wine selection. Btw they do corkage if you rather prefer taking your own. Thank you. Will be back soon.
