Love the concept of the cafe. The Caramel Cheesecake was amongst the best I've had. The service was excellent and our waiter was friendly, helpful and quick. I would definitely recommend them!
This is a great family spot. You can bring kids and pets and have a fun day outdoors. The food was really tasty. They got my husband's order wrong but replaced it without hesitation. The food was pretty reasonably priced. However, the ceramic part was very very pricy. Worth it for a fun day out though. There is also hiking trails and acrobranch nearby.
Now this is a unique dining experience! Not only is the setting perfectly calming, but one can paint ceramic objects while eating and drinking. We had such a fun time and the waiters are very attentive and friendly. The food is also delicious. Be sure to try the chicken wrap!
The Clay Café is a lovely option for a Saturday morning outing.
You have the option of painting a ceramic piece or just having a scrumptious meal (or cake!).
The service is also fast and friendly.
This is a lovely little place where you can paint a clay object of your choice and enjoy a delicious lunch, I had the falafel wrap and it was really good!
What a delightful day out! The concept is brilliant and the food is really great too. We spent the morning painting our pottery while enjoying cappuccinos (truth coffee) and cake, carrot or salted caramel cheesecake. I peeked over to the other tables and the salads looked bright & so refreshing to see real hand cut chips! This spot is a gem!
Great food and cakes. The special burger was juicy and had good flavours. Chips were crisp and soft in the centre. Plus you can have cake and paint pottery. Cafe is cashless
Food was really really good with fresh ingredients and tasteful mix of flavours.
Beautiful setting.
The service needs a bit attention, the waiter got one of two drink orders wrong and wasn't very attentive.
What a novel idea to combine an art activity with great food! Been here 3 times and walked away feeling creatively and gastronomically inspired.

Had a wonderfully relaxed time at the Clay Cafe on Saturday afternoon! The setting, service and food was GREAT! A limited menu, but everything looked divine. We decided to go for the special which was a Thai chicken pie & curly fries... Yes... yummy, CURLY, did I say yummy fries :) The pie was wrapped in perfectly baked & delicate phyllo pastry. It is safe to say, it was my best pie & chips yet! And only R45... Great value for money! #whatatreat ! I am very keen to go back to enjoy the full experience of painting some ceramics 🎨 over brunch with the girls!
First of all, the coffee is great! The staff is friendly and helpful, overall the service is good. The food is also lovely. The setting is great and I enjoy the idea of the restaurant being interactive and creative.
Plus they have massive brownies! 👏
