Wow, this place is so amazing. Everytime we have been here the food has been phenominal and the service is spectacular. I am super particular about a well down steak and it has been service to me me perfect and soft every time. Never one complaint. The best waiter I must say by far is Esau, his knowledge is applicable and well presented. Making you absolutely want everything on the menu.
I really enjoyed my visit to Picanha, the staff are friendly and the decor is really nice. My boyfriend had the trinchado for a starter, the sauce was very tasty but there wasn't enough meat in the sauce so at the end of his meal, he had a lot of sauce left over.
For mains, he had the mushroom melt sirloin steak with mash. The steak was really nice but the mash wasn't very flavoursome at all. I had the hake and chips, everything about my meal was great.

We have visited a few times and the food is consistently good.
They also run a great quiz night on a Wednesday evening and that is good for a laugh.
Would give it 5* if it wasn't for the fact that the awful smell from the smoking area permeates the main restaurant.
Picanha is such a beautifully decorated restaurant - and the food is amazing! Great for steak, burgers and ribs! Their house brand beer is amazing. Our waitress Tracey is so friendly and always serves us with a smile!

Went through for an early dinner. Very promt and consistent service from our attentive waiter. The bar looked very busy for a mid week. We ordered a starter of a cheesy bacon and garlic roll which was fair. The mains were very good. We ordered a pichana steak with veg and a half and half schnitzel (chicken and beef) with baked potato. The meats were perfectly prepared and the veggies were excellent. Very fresh, good colour and not soggy. Will definitely return with the kids as we eyed a cute kids area with slushy machine and pizza oven.
We went out for the Monday half price steak deal. I made the booking and checked everything through their Facebook page.
We have 2 young children and we were able to sit outside so we could watch them while we ate.
The food was really good, everything as we ordered it, the service from Rose was brilliant.
I will definitely go back!
ABSOLUTELY LOVE this place! It has definitely become a local watering hole and I think it will be one for a very long time! I had a very soft spot for Dros before it become Picanha, and my heart broke slightly when I heard it was changing! However nothing really changed! Same excellent waiters, even better food, and an AWESOME decor!
Their pricing is a bit expensive - but you definitely do get what you pay for! The food is amazing.
My favourite: the Creamy Garlic Snails! It is so cheesy making 6 pieces just not enough! I’ll have 100 please :)
Only downfall: The smoking section is far too small, and there are often no tables left which means you need to sit inside, and then pop in & out to go and “get some fresh air”. Not a big fan of this at all.
Other than that – I must say this is one of my favourite restaurants in Fourways/ North Riding, and I highly recommend it! :)

Yesterday I had a hankering for some cheesy garlic snails. I searched high and low for somewhere near me that I could tame the beast within...
I casually came across Pichana and decided to give them a shot.
Much to my excitement, their snails were massive, drenched in cheese and garlic and oh my word they were so good.
We decided to have a complete meal there and proceeded to order a seafood platter and a chicken schnitzel. The portions were HUGE and we'll worth the prices advertised.
Very happy to say we've found our new spot!
Only thing is the staff need to pick it up a little bit and be a little more on the ball :) otherwise, super experience and delicious food!
