Friendly staff and owner and an absolutely delicious meal. They make their own pasta and it is really good, the pasta Alfredo was amazing. My husband had the fillet steak, also excellent. We sat outside, had a couple of glasses of wine, was a very pleasant experience.
Let's put the 5 stars into perspective. This is for Nieu Bethesda. For a dusty small town the pizzas were exceptionally good and the beer was cold. Service was prompt and efficient though lacked enthusiasm. I would definitely go back and eat there again.

Wow, what a surprise find ! Laidback vibe and supported by locals which is always a good sign. Pizzas ( wonderful) and pasta are the main menu items but the special pork belly was great. Host Andre made you feel at home and gave interesting insights into the local area. A special evening !

I have been frequenting this establishment for a few months. Great wine selection and the pizza's are some of the freshest tasting I've had. As a seasoned traveller all over the world I can honestly say...nieu karoo can compete with the best in Italy. Worth the trip!

This restaurant in Nieu Bethesda is right opposite the Owl House. It’s been given a new vibe and I must say that the Tortellini was one of the best meals I have ever had and I always test out a restaurant ‘s Caesar salad and its was also delicious. There are pizzas and other Karoo staples like lamb
This is my go-to spot when I'm in Nieu-Bethesda. It's relaxed, friendly, and captures the 'vibe' of the town. Right near the owl house, and a great place to hang out if you have friends going in and you don't feel like it (happens with us locals!). Serve a great cup of coffee.
Even though we visited in the off season, this restaurant must be the neatest en best managed restaurant in the town.
The service was efficient and the food was excellent. The wine by the glass was a choice if cultivars out of a bottle and not just out of a box.
