Friendly staff and owner and an absolutely delicious meal. They make their own pasta and it is really good, the pasta Alfredo was amazing. My husband had the fillet steak, also excellent. We sat outside, had a couple of glasses of wine, was a very pleasant experience.
Let's put the 5 stars into perspective. This is for Nieu Bethesda. For a dusty small town the pizzas were exceptionally good and the beer was cold. Service was prompt and efficient though lacked enthusiasm. I would definitely go back and eat there again.
Really lovely restaurant in Nieu Bethesda, food was great (surprisingly good, we had low expectations it being such a small town). André the owner is always around, very friendly and makes you feel very welcome.

This revamped restaurant in the heart of the Karoo offers great value for money and top service to both visitors and locals. New owner, Xanthya, has injected a new vigour into this landmark. The menu is structured, It is not complicated but is great value for money. The best element of this gem is their pizza’s. Beware, as Friday evenings are dominated by locals who all come in from far and wide for Pizza Night. Normally a great vibe and always loads of interesting chat. Child-friendly and has an equally fantastic breakfast menu. Be certain to book in high summer.

Andre says he has the best pizza in South Africa. I would have to agree. Absolutely fantastic. The topping was thicker than the base. Some really great flavour combinations, and all in a wood fired oven. The service was excellent as well. The best part was when we were walking around town, the smell of delicious pizza wafting around drew us in like bees to honey. Forget all else in the town. Just go for the pizza.
This restaurant serves serious pizza which is what we all ate. The waitress by name Angie, had a great sense of humour and was cheerful throughout our meal. The owner was solicitous without being intrusive and visited each and every table. The wine was delectable, the atmosphere relaxed. Who would have thought the village of Nieu Bethesda would be home to the most authentic and delicious Italian food! The restaurant owner, Andre, is truly passionate about creating true Italian dishes. Andre and his staff are so welcoming and friendly and really make one feel as if they are part of the family. It is no wonder this restaurant has a traveler's choice rating in TripAdvisor.
Exquisite Italian cuisine in the Karoo❤️: What a surprise to stumble upon this fresh new restaurant in Nieu Bethesda. The menu is a crowd pleaser , with the expected Karoo lamb chops, and alternative of chicken curry. But the delicate home made pasta is what makes this restaurant the flagship of the town. The mushroom tortellini with burnt butter and sage is the best I've tasted.....ever! The Tagliatelle Alfredo is a perfect rendition of the old classic. The pizzas looked and smell divine. Wine list is smallish but pleasing and well suited to the menu.
