The service was excellent and very speedy. We probably didn't wait for longer than 5 to 10 minutes for our meals to be prepared. Staff are very friendly and the overall ambience of the restaurant is relaxing and welcoming.

Very happy this little place. Highest quality sushi, service, and venue. Worth every penny. Thanks and well done Sushi Box! Can recommend this one to anyone who is either hungry, looking for a quite lunch or supper, or a romantic meal. Awsome.

this is some of the best sushi i have ever had in Cape Town. you can order it in seperate plates but its best in the boxes. we ordered the Omega 3 and Fusion Box . The fushion is my personal favorite - with the box being all salmon. The newlands is also my favorite branch out of all of them. Would always make a return to this place

Always wanted to try their sushi as I only heard good stuff about it and I must say I was abit skeptical as the pictures didn’t do justice but I must say it was well worth every penny.
The sushi was great and their contents were fresh. The salmon was as if it came out the ocean this morning, would definitely do back for more

Sushi was really good, but the service wasn’t particularly fast. I also think the menu is a tad overpriced - especially because they only offer most of their sushi in 10 piece portions. Still a lovely venue with good quality sushi. I had the fusion box, which provides a nice variety of different sushi - I didn’t think their salmon roses were all that great though, definitely had way too much mayo. The loaded rainbow and crispy tuna rolls are both highly recommended.

I came in for a quick lunch, having been here before. I quite enjoyed the sushi burrito. it was tasty, filling and cheap. I'll be back. the waitron was quick and friendly as well

Honestly some of the best sushi In Cape Town, you guys are my go-to for sushi and I love the fact that it’s a bring your own alcohol set up. Only one request, please can you consider giving a half portion option to your 10 piece a la cart items. I always want variety but I can only eat so much (I’d probably end up spending more of this were the case too)!

The sushi is always fresh and delicious. Just a tip: advertise trading hours on public holidays or special days. I was at Sushi Box Newlands yesterday and I wasn't aware of the earlier closing time.
