A quaint cosy coffee shop tucked in a quiet area outside of the city centre, Cafe Lang is my new favourite spot in Mthatha. We ordered a black velvet cake with a cream cheese topping for a birthday celebration, and everyone wanted seconds. Every time I come back home I'll make sure to make a visit. Ndikholiwe nje yilendawo!

I was welcomed with a smile at the door by the owner, uMama that served me was very friendly and efficient. The chicken mayo sandwich I ordered had too much filling which caused the sandwich to fall apart. I also found the filling too rich. Their cakes are HEAVENLY! DIVINE! They are fluffy and moist. Whenever I am in Mthatha, I treat myself to their cakes.

I've only had their red velvet and chocolate cakes, but those have had me going back for more!! They're moist, decadent, and I especially love the frosting on the red velvet cake. To die for!!
