Super happy with my purchase and the service I have received from Andrew. Very accommodating and answered any query I had. When I had a small niggle with the bike, the workshop quickly and effectively sorted the issue and put any concerns I had to bed.
Good to see quality service still exists at some stores.

I will only be taking my bike to GearChange from now on! The owners and staff are super warm and friendly and are happy to help with whatever it is you are looking for, no matter how big or small. It is refreshing to come across a company who values your time and actually wants your business these days. If I could give them 6/5 stars I would without a doubt! Highly recommend!

Just bought a Trek Marlin 5 Gen 2 and I'm absolutely loving it. In-store experience was amazing with the workers placing their trust in you completely! Interior was lovely showcasing the different trails on Table Mountain. Andrew and Matthew and a few others were very nice people to talk to and informed me very well of what comes with a bike and the must-have accessories you should have. Definitely one of my favorite shops I've been to!

The absolute best bike shop in CPT. Brought my bike here after nightmares at other large establishment, the name is that of a global athletics competition... Gear Change take PROPER care of your bike and genuinely want to help. Would recommend everyday.

Really great customer service! Took my bike in for a service and had it back the next morning with no surprise charges or anything like that. Good quality cycling gear as well and very helpful advice.

A nice modern bicycle shop with a wide array of bikes and accessories- the latest gadgets and stuff.
Sleek modern interior with a coffee nook tucked away in a corner- perfect for the hippie-chic crowd.
The staffers were friendly- I was helped by a very knowledgeable and helpful chap Tyrone, who gave me advice on all I needed. He even gave directions on how to procure the one item they didn't have. Great experience.
Was a bit wierd though when I was accosted by the owner because I was taking pictures for the review- apparently there were security implications- as in I was a security risk? I had explained to the staffers earlier before I started snapping.
I do appreciate the security situation in the country and all- I'm as security conscious as the next. And I understand as a business owner, you need to protect your business. But it does get a bit tiring being perceived as a security threat because I'm black and 6 feet tall and not wearing a white coat and stethoscope at that moment. Can people just see people as people please?
Lost a star for that- could lose more without a reasonable explanation.

I had some mechanical issues on my commute home, luckily I wasn't far from Gear Change. Friendly folks and eager to help out. They sorted my bike in no time and gave me loads of info on a bike I'm interested in...I even got to test ride. Thanks for the hospitality and professionalism. Much appreciated

Took my bike in for a full service and updated BB. After looking for a bike shop that will get the details right, I am pleased to say that they went the extra mile. You just know when you get your bike back that the mechanic knows what his doing. Internal cables are done right. I appreciated that he even took the time to fix a few small things the other bike shop messed up when putting the bike together. Super happy and will highly recommend GEAR CHANGE. :)
