Die Hut - Moorreesburg - Photo album

Praise GOD for a lovely campspot, that has the most amazing lawn to camp on and the private bathrooms for each site is really cool.
I just have one complaint the water in the showers cannot be adjusted nicely cause when you think you adjusted properly it get either to hot and you burn yourself or to cold. All in all we had a lovely caravan weekend. The weather was perfect, breakfast was to die for and service was outstanding. Th
Very good place to be you get only the best treatment here i love this place thanks
My rump steak was so soft, I did not need a sharp knife. The drinks and food are well priced, service was good - all in all a good experience.
Neat campsites with private clean ablutions, and some animal interaction for the kids.
Die Huts food is authentic, fresh and simply delightful. We had chicken cordon Bleu and beef schnitzel. It was done perfectly. The waiter was on point and the music was lovely. Ten out of ten!
This is the first time that we are camping at The Hut. At the moment it is a small camping site, however, the owner is busy expanding and adding more sites. The sites have lush green lawns, the ablutions are pristine and each site has it's own ablutions. A lovely swimming pool to cool down in du
We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this venue. First, we attended a function. How amazing. The service and decor was brilliant. The food was ridiculously good. There was an amazing variety of delicious foods, from a bread table to veggies and stews to roasts. The desert table was beautiful
An amazing place to camp, great swimming pool, pleasant walk along the farm road between the wheat fields, don't forget an apple or six for the donkeys at the top of the first hill. You are allocated your own ablution facilities, owner extremely friendly and helpful, there is also a restaurant and p
Well firstly, I loooved the 2 massive friendly dogs - they were so cuddly and welcoming...the humans were just as friendly, very hospitable. Food at the restaurant was amaaaaaazing (especially the steak with the mushroom sauce). The coffee, wow! The accommodation was super clean, neat and fresh...
We booked at Die Hut for out Christmas lunch and I do believe that this will now become a new tradition! A very South African affair with lots of meats (lamb, beef, gammon, tongue, afval, chicken pie, etc). Good selection of veg and salad and cakes and ice cream for dessert. Well prepared and served
We visited Die Hut for a camping experience over the long weekend in August 2021. What an amazing experience it was. From when we got there, during our stay to when we had to leave. The owners were super friendly and helpful and very accommodating. The farm is beautiful, and even though it is locat
Lovely stay at this accommodation! The owners are so lovely and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of! The food is awesome and the bed was so comfortable!
FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE! When you ask - this family-driven team WILL deliver by a (an extra) mile. The food - whether for the function, restaurant or breakfast [4 meats on a plate for breakfast?] - SUPERB! Accommodation, function venue and SURROUNDS - very good; simply love the farm experience.
Massive buffet with very traditional Afrikaner food. It gets busy on Sundays and hosts biggish events like weddings and the like. It is well supported by the locals which is always a good sign. Go. Eat. Then sleep.
I can really recommend Die Hut as a camping site. Outstanding individual private ablutions, on-site restaurant and bar, farm walks followed by a dip in the camp’s swimming pool, utter bliss! So friendly too. Will be back very soon.
Went for a seminar at Die Hut. Best food ever. Had lunch, Supper ~ braai, and even Pizza's at 10pm.
