Always our go-to place when at Canal Walk. Guaranteed of a good milkshake, iced coffee or Cappucino. The toasted sandwiches are also good and the staff are always friendly.

I've been going to this Mugg & Bean for many years now. Their food is delicious, and their drink menu is perfect. Their service is satisfactory. Food is always served on time. And waiter regularly check on their customers.
We popped in at our neighbourhood Mugg & Bean for a quick breakie, before our shopping spree takes over...service was surprisingly quick, attentive and we received our breakfast in no time, love the new vegetarian and low carb breakfast options on the menu, only problem was we had to queue for the card machine, only one available....

Great, varied menu, reasonable prices. Generous portions, very tasty food, lots of unique items you won't find at other restaurants. Prompt service, lots of staff so you don't have to wait ages for attention. Very positive experience
Canal Walk is most probably one of the most beautiful shopping malls in South Africa. Mugg & Bean is situated on their lower level and offers everything you know you can expect from them.
Since Cape Town is a tourist hotspot, be prepared to scout for your table as it can get busy sometimes. They have wonderful breakfasts, lunches that includes burgers, wraps, salads and of course decadent cakes, desserts and confectionery.
Mugg & Bean never disappoints and will always be a sure favourite in my book.
Such a good frickin choc chip muffin!! And as always! Huge!!! Lucky me, I came in extra early and got a muffin straight off the rack!! Lekka warm :)
You don't need to be told to try mugg n beans muffins, it's a well known fact that they're pretty damn good. And only R25.
Enjoyed the lemon meringue although it was a bit sweet. The iced coffees were good. Overall service was good although it's situated in a busy area of CW.
Mugg & Bean is one of those places I rely on to catch a quick snack or small meal while I'm in a rush or looking for a reliable restaurant chain. I usually get a muffin, cake or even their crepes - which are all delicious and fresh. The peanut butter and banana, futurelife smoothie I had here was pretty good, but far too icy. Their muffins are great, especially when fresh out of the oven - which I usually try get. My favourites are still the nut and chocolate chip varieties. Mugg & Bean is well known for their assortment of cakes and tarts, and most of them are average to quite good - but I feel their mass production of these cakes leads to inferior quality some of the time. Their desserts in general are very good, which is only let down by their exceedingly slow service and often unfriendly staff. Overall it's on party with the other Mugg & Beans I've been to around Cape Town. It's a place to go for a few bites, not necessarily their service. 70%.
Mugg and Bean what can I say I loved the Banting breakfast - Bacon and Creamy avocado;) which was amazing. So obviously it's franchise food so each establishment is different ... Our service was amazing - Lawrence going above and beyond for us keeping us happy no matter what! He really was great and so friendly ;) Food was delicious, presentation is lacking but it was good. I love canal walk and its situated in a lovely area ..
