Very cool place to enjoy a few drinks with friends and family. Chilled and peaceful with great views. Very close to nature reserve and beautiful nature view.
Most awesome place to chill. A beautiful scenery, quiet and totally relaxing. A break from the busy city life. Various options of brews and craft beer. The food was served within minutes and delicious. Really worth a drive, so welcoming. Would definitely visit again soon.

Quiet atmosphere early in the morning, under the trees with a view of the dam. Great for a family outing. There is an entrance fee at the reserve gate (R30 per adult and R15 per child/pensioner) but worth it. Food was excellent and well priced (R75 for 2x eggs, 2x rashers of bacon, 150g steak, tomato and toast).
The road getting there is littered with traffic calming measures to ensure the safety of bikers and wild animals, and feels a little excessive.
Staff are friendly and courteous. Will go again despite the entrance fee.
Other activities seem to include hiking trails and biking.
I bought a 30L keg of lager from Julian this week. Well priced and master brewer Julian is the most pleasant and helpful fellow. Fantastic lager beer at any price. Great to have At Hops End local in Benoni! Update- just collected my second keg of lager!
Awesome view, great beer, not much to choose from the food menu but burger was amazing, friendly staff, reasonably priced, nothing more to wish for. Makes for a perfect place for boys get togethers
Its a little gem hidden amidst the hustle bustle of the city....quite, tranquil and scenic...we spent a good 3 hrs, and can certainly spend some more..a must visit...the beers are okk, just need to be more chilled, i was served a not so cold beer , although that really doesnt matter when you have a great location around...extremely beautiful
What a great oasis in the middle of Gauteng, great selection of beers and perfect place to chill out and enjoy a view. Will be back often.
Amazing service and the 20 20 beer is highly recommended.
