Ordered a Wednesday Adams cake, my daughter absolutely loved it and for my mother the New York cheese cake. Both cakes were insanely delicious. Divine, divine, divine!!!!! 🤤🤤🤤🤤

I ordered a customised cake for my boy’s first birthday and I was so impressed, not only did it look beautiful ( almost exactly like the picture I sent for inspiration), but it tasted amazing too. I will be ordering from them again.

Tessa's bakery accommodated me on short notice. The cupcakes and large cake were amazing, fresh and good value. Great customer service and better pricing than certain "famous" cake shops and franchises in Cape Town.

I loved everything about my cake!! The ordering was so easy online and the service was amazing (email communication and cake confirmations). The cake itself has got to be the most moist and delicious chocolate cake I have had all year., it looked just as amazing as it tasted. The stains that we were pre warned about, was such a fun element for my dad's grandchildren. I am so grateful I found this gem of a bakery in time for two more birthdays in my household, I am looking forward to my next order :) Super friendly service at the store when I went to collect.. Lovely packaging and I was in and out in less than 4min.

Love this place! We use Tessa for every birthday. Great service, great cakes, always. The themed cakes are always very on-trend. I always recommend them to everyone. Five stars.

Been using this bakery well over 5 years now whether it be for birthdays, anniversary, special occasions even when that sweet tooth kicks in TESSA'S, is my go to always. Quality and greatness everytime and the staff are always eager to assist.

I love it when a place manages to engage multiple senses at the same time. When entering the bakery, you are welcomed with a sweet aroma. The various items on display are a visual treat for your eyes making it so difficult to choose. Each bite is such a delight - fresh and delicious! The shop was spotless while employees were friendly and helpful. The treats are reasonably priced for the quality you receive so we will certainly visit Tessa's when we are in the area again.

The most moist, softest, crumbling, chocolatey, chocolate cupcakes. Amazing vanilla and red velvet cupcakes. Droolicious, very sweet, things. I also had their lasagne pie, quite a long time ago, and it was so good it's left a lasting memory many years after consuming it. The only reason I don't visit more often is because my already curvaceous figure needs no further addition. If you want and/or need a treat, I 100% recommend Tessa's.

The most important component to any party is the cake… and Tessas never disappoints. Absolutely gorgeously created, decadent, moist and simply stunning cakes and cupcakes as well as other baked good. My go to cake stop … my cake orders in pics 🌈💕🥂

My boyfriend ordered the most beautiful custom birthday cake from Tessa's a week or two before my birthday and they produced a delicious, fresh and beautiful work of cake art. One of the loveliest cakes ever! He said they were friendly, efficient and positive to deal with so we will definitely support this business again. Decided to give this place a try for my partner's crown birthday. The black and gold cupcakes fit perfectly with the party theme, and I ended up buying a few other cupcakes on the spot because they looked so good. I was pleased to discover that they taste even better than they look. We will definitely be using the bakery again for future occasions.

Tessa's Bakery is by far one of the best bakeries I've ever been to. Ask them about the velvet cake and cheesecake hybrid! Scrumptious. I've not yet ordered a whole cake but so far their cupcake variety and cake slice options have all been delicious. I especially love to buy Banting cheescake and the Banting chocolate mousse type cake. Phone ahead for the Banting options though because it's not always available or not always the same thing. The packaging is also really cute and fun so if you have a friend with a sweet tooth then buying them a cupcake here will double up as a nice gift.
