My friends and I went for an end of Cape Town holiday dinner last night. We were blown away by the beautiful view (but if you want a sea view them please reserve a table and specify as such). We were greeted at the door and had personal service the whole evening. Beautiful Charmaine was our friendly and efficient waitress. We had fantastic food: Frutti del Mare pasta with a lot of seafood in it. For starters we shared the focaccia with feta and rustic bruchetta. Definitely ask about the daily specials that included Pig cheeks and sauerkraut, spinach and ricotta ravioli etc etc.
Their wine selection is to die for. We will definitely be back!!

I just love how Chef Uli of Maranellos goes the extra mile to make your visit so special. Trattoria maranello is the only place to get a real pizza and the range of wines is staggering. I also love that they have craft beer on tap! All the food is really great but I love their pizzas most of all! But you should try something off the specials board too!

Food, service, ambiance and view was absolutely amazing. They were fully booked but managed expectations by telling us the meal might take some time. Loved it!
A true Italian experience! Today I went all out on this cuisine, the full monty with aperol sprits, muscles in a delicious tomato broth. Red snapper on a bed of angel hair pasta dressed with a caper and creamy lemon sauce and finishing off with a lovely creme brulee, which was to die for! The food was very well prepared with plenty flavour. We sat in the patio sunroom section which had a lovely view of the beach. Not a bad way to spend your Sunday Funday I would say.
Whether dining alone, or with friends and family, it is always a pleasure at Maranello. It is one of my favourite "GO TO" restaurants, and for many reasons;
• It offers consistantly good food and excellent value for money.
• Besides the menu which offers a delicious and tasty variety to choose from, their daily specials are always a winner no matter what you choose to enjoy, and enjoy you shall.
• The venue is beautiful, and little beats finishing off a lovely weekend cruise, to Maranello, bike or car, for a magnificent and relaxed sunset dinner overlooking the sea.
• Even for business meetings, you know Maranello will simply be a favourable choice.

For a guaranteed scrumptious meal out, good time and pretty authentic Italian, Maranello never dissapoints!!

If you love Ferrari then this place is for you. A large selection of Ferrari memorabilia. Good variety of pizza. Nice thin crispy base. A good selection of pasta is also available. Service can be a bit slow at times but worth a visit.
Nice vibe. In the evening romantic, in sunny weather great vibe to sit outside. Must say their pizza is the best! Pasta ok often overcooked. Will definitely recommend this place for pizza , terrific ocean view time!
A nice spot by the beach, perfect for a Sunday lunch. The staff are friendly and the food satisfactory, I would definitely recommend the boulibaisse. The pizzas looked incredible, will definitely go back to try them out
Took a drive out along the coast, and we stopped here for a nibble before heading back home. This Italian or more importantly Ferrari obsessed eatery boasts the largest variety of wine I have ever seen! I opted for the Antipasto dello Chef, which comprises of cold meats, cheeses, olives, marinated veggies and homemade grissini and my friend chose the Marinara pizza( saldanha mussels, calamari tubes, shrimps and line fish). The pizza base was thin and crispy and there was a generous amount of seafood. The Charcuterie board was good, but I lacked something fresh like melon or grapes. The view from the restaurant is great and the food is good. Not a bad local option.
Have had pizza and pasta here a few times and we have never been disappointed, in fact its great. In my experience the best melkbos restaurant 🍴👌
