We stumbled on this place because we were looking for a cup of coffee. This is a hidden gem. The owners are so welcoming.
They have a craft store. They play beautiful jazz music.
The food is fantastic. The pulled pork was outstanding. The pesto basil and the cheese mushroom dishes were so good. They serve them on a waffle….hence the name
Don’t pass up this gem.
Local local local!
We were driving past and decided to pull in. We we’re definitely pleasantly surprised. The food ticked all the boxes and we got to feed the goats while waiting for our food. Thank you for the great experience. They’ll definitely see us again 🙂
A lovely little place for family. Great ambiance and the owners make you feel so welcome. Nice and cosy little fire place, great for winter days. The most delicious waffles for mains and dessert. There is a second hand book nook with books and cd's for sale. Also get to see horses and sheep here and there.
The food was amazing. The staff friendly and the atmosphere was great. The went over and beyond, I called the day before to see if they had gluten free options they specially made a batch for me so I could join in the meal for my daughter's birthday celebrations. They remembered the next day and wished my daughter a happy birthday. Really a cut above the rest and great attention to detail and greqt customer service
Absolutely friendly and welcoming service. The lemonade was good. We shared the choc heaven waffle (with chocolate mousse and chocolate ice cream). It was delicious.
I'm looking forward to trying the lemon meringue waffle next time.
Was a perfect stop to wait out a storm, misty midland views and a warm fire whilst we comforted ourselves with coffee and hot chocolate and the most delicious waffles. Warm friendly host, we were very happy to have chanced apon this place
Hubby had the savoury pulled pork waffle and the kids and l had the bar-one, heavenly choc and lemon meringue waffles. I'll be back for the banoffy toffee waffle! Simply delicious stuff.
What a wonderful surprise to find this gem on the Midlands Meander .. Coffee and a variety of waffles to suit your taste at great prices, plus an enchanting outside and inside shop filled with collectables, notably African wooden sculptures and metal art, plus plants galore. Inside one can peruse large and small collectables as well as buy art by a meta,l in-house artist. Wonderful unusual gifts to stock up for Xmas! There are gently loved ladies clothes, plus beaded artworks, unusual dreamcatchers and more besides. Friendly and attentive staff. Just off the R103, opposite the Tsonga turnoff... I loved the ducks and goats as well. Kiddie friendly place to kick your off shoes and spend a delightful afternoon with the owners . Simply loved this venue. ❤️❤️😍😍😍🌈

BEST WAFFLES
Visiting the waffle inn is always an absolute treat for everyone of any age. The drive in is a little bumpy as it's a farm but totally worth it.
The owners and staff are always super friendly and accommodating, you feel at home and free (I felt free enough to kick off my shoes and feel the fresh farm grass under my feet-would defs recommend!!).
They have a lovely range of sweet and savory waffles, the pulled pork is *chef's kiss* and the sweet side varies from a lovely balance of sweet and salty to chocolate overload!
Best quality toppings are prepared to be placed on your fluffy waffle which isn't too sweet (perfect calculations done by the chef).
On today's adventure I had my usual bannoffee waffle which composed of pan fried bananas, a few scoops of vanilla ice cream and all of this was drizzled with warm caramel😍 I'd definitely recommend this to anyone, no matter your palate. We also had a chocolatey heaven(can't remember the name on the menu) waffle which was topped with chocolate ice cream, chocolate mousse (superb!) and chocolate drizzle, this was a bit tooo sweet for my liking.
I also had a home made lemonade. Perfect balance of sour and sweet and just enough of that lemony kick.
All of this paired with a great view and you have the best ending to a day out.
You may want to carry your own sanitizer, it's barely ever crowded and there is a bookstore inside for you to give an old book a new forever home.
