Adega in Lenasia never fails to disappoint. The LM peri peri chicken is always a winner with extra hot sauce. Food is always cooked to perfection. The staff need some energy though. Perfect for take outs 👌🏽

Their food is always amazing! The service is decent. They are famous for their chicken and prawns and yes they do it justice! Love them! You won't find better chicken elsewhere

The Food Musketeer

Oh my hungry soul. After shopping in fordsburg and lenasia we built up quite an appetite by lunch time, never mind the thirst in this ridiculous summer heat. (And its a far cry from boksburg)

We ordered the mocktails. I took the long island ice tea and my family and friend opted for the passion fruit mojito and strawberry daiquiri. A bit on the sweet side but it went down well being ice cold.

Now for the food. YUM. I was starving so i ordered the LM chicken and prawns - mild. Others ordered the tempura prawns and grilled panaga YUM again. Food was tasty had just the right amount of sauce and was so good and hit that hungry spot right on the head. Service was good and our waitress was friendly. Definitely made a good option to dine there today :-)

Adega is conveniently situated near the kids arcade and cinema, so I find it very convenient when we're going out as a family. My kids love going to play games or visit the nearby toy shop (All About Toys and Hobbies), so I'm usually having a peaceful few minutes before they come back to the table.

We normally order a huge order of prawns to share with the various sauces in different bowls. The prawns are quite tasty. I normally ask them to remove the heads as I can't stand eating the prawns with the heads and so they normally acquiesce to my request. I really like the vegetables that they provide with the meal. Their creamed spinach is really delicious and yes, I've tried to replicate it at home.

Their mocktails are also quite delicious. I like the pina colada or the strawberry daiquiri. Muslim clientele will be delighted to know that Adega is halaal and so their chicken and meat is edible and their drinks don't have any alcohol in them.
