Review Culinary Table - Lanseria

Matthew Dos Santos Serra
What a cool spot seemingly tucked away into what looks like nothing from the main road. Great concept, regularly upgraded and changing menu by chef Daniela Gutstadt and her team. Organic and fresh! A lot grown on property. Food was great, menu is interesting and exciting. Atmosphere was absolutely pumping. Deli looks great. Came with some of my team from work as a year end. Can't wait to come back with my wife.

I've been wanting to try this place for ages and finally got round to going. First I just want to say the atmosphere is excellent! There is plenty of seating, with simple but comfortable furniture, and indoor and outdoor sections. They have a garden where they grow their own produce to use in the dishes and sell in the adjacent deli store. The store itself is worthy of many visits, as they stock a crazy variety of items from all over the world that you will not find anywhere else. It's not cheap, but try it at least once, especially if you're looking for something unusual. Unfortunately I was not blown away by the food. I ordered the Full Monty breakfast, which has just about everything on it. Presentation was great, but the sausage was tough and dry, and the sourdough toast was far too hard to cut easily. I'll definitely try a different dish next time

Have been here a few times for coffee and cake, and it's always been good. Had breakfast twice, which was also great, havent tried the lunch menu. I really enjoy the atmosphere and the comfortable seats inside. The outside is also beautiful with the veggie garden. The deli has quite a range of goodies, plus freshly baled goods.

They have the best orange juice, freshly squeezed orange juice. I had a lamb curry, which was really good. The lamb pulled off easily, really enjoyed it. A good place for a midweek lunch, or breakfast on Sunday’. The patio area is my recommended sitting area.

The service was good, friendly, and efficient. The decor is good. What a wonderful deli with so much to choose from. The food was good tasty and perfect quantity.

It was an exciting experience to be here, doing the grocery shopping. They've got lots of stuff that you need for cooking: some Italian, Thai, Indian, Mexican, and other ingredients from different countries in one shop. Really interesting (◕ᴗ◕✿) The restaurant is situated amongst the plantations—a mini garden like that—and has some vegetables and herbs. I went there for breakfast and ordered Creamy Polenta, and it was lovely, and the Iced Coffee was dope. This is going to be one of my "all-in-one" favourite places to spend the weekends.

The food was excellent with a great outdoor experience,i especially enjoyed the carrot cake which I'm normally sceptical ordering at other places, but theirs was really delicious 😋

Beautiful place, food was delicious 😋. The waiter was very friendly. Lekker atmosphere even suitable for meetings. I recommend their cortado

Great food, service and ambience! A definite must try - I highly recommend this spot for brunch/lunch and mini birthday celebrations. I had the most delicious boozy lemonade cocktail and a succulent rump steak with a side of tasty tomato rice😍.

The Culinary Table is located in what looks like a bare industrial park, but the setting is deceptive. Once you walk through the door, you're in a country-style setting with a garden outlook, with only the sound of an occasional airplane to remind you that Lanseria Airport is right alongside. This restaurant is a real Joburg treasure, with an excellent breakfast menu, warm and friendly service (I'd like to single out our waiter, Mpho, who was attentive and engaging) and a vibey atmosphere that made the drive from the suburbs well worthwhile. An ideal getaway for a Sunday brunch especially!

Service: I went on a Tuesday afternoon. The place was not packed but the service was so slow. There's no check-in as to whether you're still okay or need anything else.<br/>Ambience: This is probably the reason I will go back. I sat outside by the garden area. The sun was out so the experience was pleasant. It's a very beautiful area, and the sounds of the chickens just made the experience much nicer for me.<br/>Food: I ordered the gnocchi gorgonzola. The food looked nice but was bland. Also I think I went with high expectations, so maybe I might have expected a lot.<br/><br/>Would visit again, but just for the garden area.

We were large table the food was completely shocking the service was SLOW the food was tasteless was mass produced. Vegetarians they cook their food in the same utensils that they cook the meat are you going to get some blood in your food. I suggest just having coffee at the very most there. We asked the manager for help that was the biggest problem of all he was useless! STAY AWAY. <br/>We were not the only people complaining that seems to be the norm for the morning.

Firstly the rating is actually a 3.5. Visited over a weekend, venue overall was quite busy and the staff at the restaurant were very pleasant and accommodating. Food was very good but not great, good ambiance. Would definitely come again.

Not the largest menu selection but still tasty options all round. Food is good tho (although we sent our plates back because they were cold)... Our dessert also came out cold...and pies were microwaved.<br/>Wine selection is interesting...not many "commercial" options but some good bottles were on offer and we found a prize without selection...finally I have to say it wasn't the country experience I had hoped for (based on reviews and suggestions) but it was a good afternoon out in the sun with generally good service.

Lovely atmosphere for a relaxed lunch. The ingredients were fresh, and the food was well prepared. The menu has been changed to the one advertised on line, and we had a few disappointed people as they couldn't taste the dish they had read about. Perhaps timeous updates online? As the waitress told us the menu changes with season.

Excellent service and outstanding food. The service staff are attentive and professional and the management is hands on on the floor. Made me feel appreciated and special
Paul Selibas
Terrible service. I highly recommend not coming here unless you want to wait and wait and wait. And now I have to fill 140 characters. Painful painful...

Lovely shop with interesting catering equipment and foods, including sumac! Butchery, bakery and vegetable garden in site. Lovely ambiance, a must visit

Was quite excited when I read the reviews of this restaurant and specifically recommended this place to my client for a lunch. When we got to the restaurant; the atmosphere was fantastic and the restaurant setup was great; unfortunately the food was mightily average and the service was even worse. <br/><br/>On the specific subject of service; the waiters in the outside patio section had no clue which orders belonged to what table; our bread basket was delivered to the wrong table and another table’s lamb landed up on our table. When we addressed this to the waiter serving us; he didn’t have much to say and carried on with his service. <br/><br/>The food was below par; two out of the three clients ordered the pasta’s; short rib and lamb in particular and they said it was quite average. I ordered the Chicken and it wasn’t anything to write home about. Perhaps we ordered the wrong dishes? Not sure? <br/><br/>With the restaurant being 35km from Sandton City Center; I don’t think I’ll find myself at this place anytime soon given that you can pay R166 for Chicken & Prawns at Laurentina and also have bread at your own table rather than at table 43 😂

We came here for Sunday brunch. I had the omelette with rocket salad which was really tasty. All the food is organic. It is great to wander through their herb/veggie garden which is really well kept. Our waiter Trevor was delightful. All in all a good experience and we will most definitely be back. I highly recommend making a reservation beforehand at this hidden gem.

Used to be excellent. Not anymore. Poor slow service by Zabane, flies all over the place (even lost a glass of wine to one). Food mediocre at best. Very sad since it used to be one of my favourite restaurants.

I have had breakfast here in the past. Delicious. I shop at the Deli. Wonderfull things. It's like being in a toy store. However I ordered the snails today and the butter was not even melted. It shows no pride and no supervision in the kitchen. I did mention it to the manager on duty.

One if our favorite places. Great vibe. Great food and likeminded people. <br/>Food great, awesome coffee. <br/>Nice collection of gins and single malt whiskies.

Stopped here for a quick lunch and was delighted to find this gem in Lanseria!<br/>While enjoying my food and getting some work done I could soak in the view. The outside setting is inviting with vegetable boxes and the odd rooster crow. Service was friendly and prompt too. <br/>I'm looking forward to going back for a laid back brunch or maybe a pre/post flight stop.
Nicole
Such a delightful little spot. We wanted to find somewhere different for brunch so took a little drive out to this spot and were pleasantly surprised. The gardens are lovely, the cocktails are delicious and the food was delicious and well proportioned. The service was quick and efficient and the environment is very welcoming. Well recommended. Pictures shown here are the trout and cream cheese Rosti with poached eggs and a beetroot gin.

What a picturesque little restaurant. Lovely fresh ingredients grown in their garden used to make your meal absolutely scrumptious... the breakfasts are legendary and the deli/bakery makes the most divine fresh baked bread. I love to stop in here for breakfast and it is the most wonderful stop for Birthdays and Celebrations. Service can be a tad slow but completely worth a visit.

Their menu changes regularly so the menu loaded on Zomato is not current, however the food and service is very disappointing. We ordered the chicken with butternut risotto-the chicken was over cooked and the risotto was flavorless. Especially since their prices are ridiculous when compared to the quality - nandos makes better chicken. Our waiter also didn’t know most of the menu - when we asked if we could split the chicken he reacted like we were asking the impossible and had to ask the chef. So the waiters are not very empowered with knowledge or autonomy. He also forgot about our water after asking for it twice. Also there were LOTS of flies around us it was terrible having to constantly wave them away from our food. And they have construction going on so the setting was quite distasteful.

If ever you’re at the Lanseria parkrun on a Saturday morning , the culinary table is a great breakfast spot post-run. The service and staff are attentive and friendly. The food is all things delicious and comforting. I tried the Shakshuka and enjoyed the middle eastern flavors , so creamy and rich. A must try.

Was pleasantly surprised with this place. Went for Sunday lunch part of restaurant week. It’s a bakery, butchery and deli. Also has a wide range of kitchen equipment. There is also a farm on the property where they source their veg, herbs and meat. All organic. <br/><br/>Firstly, it was restaurant week but there was no set menu. We had to choose only certain items off the al la carte menu. Obviously the cheaper meals on the menu is what we could only eat. If you had a starter, you couldn’t have dessert. For us and the waiter, I think it would have helped with a set menu since he wasn’t even clear about what we could or couldn’t eat. <br/><br/>Anyway, we had the starter and mains option. It was a small menu and looks like it changes every weekend. My husband tried the venison which was kudu on the day. It was very well prepared. I had a mussel pot with white wine and cream. Very tasty. The starters were also really good, being lamb ribs and a mushroom linguine. <br/><br/>The service was slow though. And the waiter got my husbands starter order incorrect. But overall not a bad experience.

The setting is wonderful, home style comfortable seating in a relaxed atmosphere amongst all sorts of goods for sale. Cannot fault the setting. The veggie garden is amazing too.<br/><br/>Having been there for a breakfast once, it was an exceptional experience, so we decided to go for a lunch to experience the offering.<br/><br/>The menu, I understand changes nearly every week, but the selection was not diverse enough and we ended up buying food we didn't really come there for. While I understand you are paying a slightly higher price per head in a setting/offering like this, the expectation after paying a premium, is a wonderful meal that justifies the price - the opposite is true. The food barring the fillet mignon, was not enjoyable at all. The calamari was almost inedible. The mussles were nicely done but not done in an expected manner, so my daughter battled through those. The pork kassler I had was so small, if I had not ordered a side dish of delicious roasted potatoes, I would have left hungry.<br/><br/>I do not think I'll be back unfortuanetly. The feeling of value/offering is one of being ripped off a bit - sorry.

Went to Culinary Table for Sunday brunch. The place has a lovely ambiance which you could never tell when you drive into the parking lot.<br/>Great breakfast menu with good food.<br/>However, the Service could do with improvement.
Chad
Very average. A bit over priced. Management doesn’t seem to know what their floor staff are doing. Don’t think Il be back. Pity it has the potential.<br/>

Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Had an omelette and homemade marmalade service very attentive. Highly recommended coffee great was moreish

I was so excited to finally try this resturant and wow were we dissapointed. Firstly we were 20 people so understand that service could be a bit strained, so did take that into account. In fact service was friendly and helpful so can't complai about that.<br/><br/>The fact that I ordered a rib eye and was originally served a sirlone was the begining of my experience, 2nd chance my rib eye arrives raw. Not rare, not blue, RAW. Again fine, busy restaurant, big table - let's go to the chef. How rude was she, telling us that this is a medium cooked steak and gave us serious attitude. Argue with your customers - bad move. I asked the waiter to remove my meal from the menu and didn't order anything else. Needless to say, my parents had the mussels which were served cold in a cold broth. Not supposed to be, just obviously not warmed up enough. Not<br/>going to continue but the rest of the table each had their own worries.<br/><br/>I am so dissapointed because this place has so much potential. You expect greatness. The deli, the shop, the veg garden - it's set beautifully- pity about the food and arrogance of the chef. When you spend thousands of rands and I mean thousands, I expect quality and respect.<br/><br/>Won't be back.

What is not to like about a egg benedict where the eggs are free range and supplied by happy chickens! I added the crispy bacon and mushroom, on sour dough bread. Although it is a bit of a trek out to Lanseria, it is worth it! The concept of garden-to-table cuisine is appealing. The outdoor part of the restaurant overlooks the herb and vegetable garden with staff walking around carrying baskets and picking ingredients for your dish. Truly a home-away-from-home.<br/><br/>The food is super tasty and I loved the dark orange colour of the farm-fresh eggs. Juices are freshly pressed and you can combine your own selection. I had the green super juice (avo, apple, cucumber, ginger, lemon, lettuce, spinach, herbs and maringa powder. Yum...MY!<br/><br/>Fantastic place and the Maureen who served us, did a great job!<br/><br/>There is also a fresh produce shop, interior decorating and a coffee experience to nip into afterwards, making the trip a full-on morning outing.

Superb little hidden gem. Excellent food and service. Refreshing limited menu showcasing sustainably sourced local produce in the best way possible. <br/><br/>Can't wait to return!
Marc Van Jaarsveldt
The food is fantastic, but... the service is slow, the portion size (drinks and food) is small. The last issue I had when I visited was - I ordered spaghetti volgole, unfortunately there were a total of 5 clams with meat, the rest were empty. When I asked the manager, he said his clams are all empty and he will give me more if he could... very disappointing as the staff are friendly and the food is tasty

We headed over to Culinary Table on Saturday for brunch with friends. As a first timer there, I found it an odd location for a restaurant especially one that grows its own produce. The outside of the restaurant prepares you in no way for the aesthetic surprise that greets you as you walk in. A very spacious, well decorated restaurant with a shop and deli area. There is also an outside area next to the garden which will be lovely during summer. The breakfast menu I feel doesn’t do much justice to the fresh ingredients available from the garden. The food was decent but nothing wow and I feel for a fair assessment we need to try something on the lunch or supper menu. The table setting, décor and ambiance was lovely and I would definitely want to go back especially in summer.

A lovely place with quick service, an interesting yer uncomplicated menu and a good selection of beer and cocktails. What more do you need..

Over the weekend we finally had a chance to pop down the road to Culinary Table.<br/><br/>The ambience was great, with views of the deli, kitchen and what appeared to be a bakery of sorts. The seating was comfortable but even though we had reserved a table, not many were available due to the breakfast sitting still occupying their tables - our reservation was for 12:30! <br/><br/>The vegetable garden just beyond the sitting area was a treat to walk through and a rather relaxing affair. To be so self-sustaining is a marvel and I would love to be able to replicate the same at home.<br/><br/>Unfortunately we were not that impressed by the food really. Choice was rather limited. Whilst we were fully aware that the menus change regularly, the samples online included sandwiches and burgers along side more substantial options. The menus we were presented were more suited to a dinner sitting we felt, with no real light-lunch options. Nevertheless, the rump steak, chicken and pork neck dishes were ordered. One of our party did enjoy the pork, but the steak and chicken dishes, though ample in serving size, did not warrant the price they came at. They were merely average. <br/><br/>Dessert and coffee were the saving grace. The lavender infused creme brûlée and cappuccinos were divine! We made sure to purchase their house beans from deli on the way out.<br/><br/>All in all, a lovely setting and a really cool concept which were let down a bit, by the food options we had chose.

The service was an absolute joke. We booked a table for 1:30. I had an SMS confirming it but they never had our name on the list. The food was very average and our waiter was apologetic but it was out of his control. The front desk was chaotic with no-one in charge. We eventually got our meal at 14:50 and they said they would give us a free coffee because of the wait. We ordered coffee after the meal and they charged us. We were so late and didn't feel like asking for the discounted coffee. There were lots of angry people who had booked and had to wait around while the staff scrambled around like headless chickens.

Went for Sunday lunch. Arrived at 1pm and service was SO slow. Took forever to get menu or a drink... eventually ordered. Our food took 1,15 mins. Curries were great but steaks were over cooked. Sadly Sunday lunch is under staffed and chaotic.
Deborah Kirkman
They only had one vegetarian option which, considering there were only 5 or 6 mains, is maybe not unreasonable but I would have liked to see more considering they advertise themselves as a restaurant with home grown vegetables. <br/><br/>The vegetarian meal was risotto with spinach and a few carrots. It was good but not amazing and overpriced considering the ingredients and that's pretty much how I'd describe the restaurant: overpriced and not quite meeting expectations.<br/><br/>The decor and setting is good but we couldn't hear each other talk across the table when it got busy in the restaurant. I'd recommend going for a glass of wine but staying away from the food.
KayK
Menu as shown is incorrect. Sunday has a special menu (expensive)and it appears that lunch menu during the week changes weekly with less choices than advertised in Zomato. Please ask Culinary Table to update.

This must be one of the best restaurants in the Wesrand. The venue, food and service are unbelievable. Have been for breakfast and lunch and both times all was excellent. Well done to Management and staff for keeping a high standard. See you soon.

Went for Father's Day. Worst experience ever. Had 11am breakfast booking - service was so bad that we had lunch! Took over an hour to get drinks. Half the order did not arrive until 1.5hours later. Ordered lunch and starters and mains were served at the same time. Food mediocre at best. Tuna so over cooked it could have been tinned! Ordered mussels linguini and got mussels and chips. Only after repeatedly asking for the linguini where we informed the menu had been changed. All round the experience was so shockingly bad that it was a joke. <br/>Rating 0

We've been meaning to try this restaurant after being recommended by many people & it certainly lived up to the expectation.<br/><br/>Food: As a family of 4, we ordered the shoulder of lamb roast that comes with roast vegetables, linguine with napolentana sauce, delicious mint sauce & gravy. All the ingredients are lovely, fresh & wholesome. It was absolutely divine & we all definitely over ate! We were too stuffed after our main to try the desserts but I saw a few desserts come out the kitchen that looked to die for. <br/><br/>Ambience: This is definitely an unexpected restaurant as all you see when driving in is factory, industrial buildings. The inside is beautiful & I just love the herb garden outside with the chickens & goats. <br/><br/>Service: Our waitress was very friendly & smiley. The service was quick & she was very attentive. <br/><br/>Overall, one of my new favourites. Will definitely be back to try their breakfasts next!

Love the ambiance, the deli and kitchen shop add to a relaxing home kitchen feel. The decor is subtle and understated. The music In the background is fitting. The food is wholesome and delicious a perfect way to spend a relaxed Sunday lunch. The deli is irresistible.

Good wholesome food. It's a simple menu but the meat used is very good and cooked really really well. Great beer on tap is an added plus! It's a little far but definitely worth the drive!

Meals are beautiful and delicious. Great place for lunch or supper. Very awesome, nice place for a serious snack. Breakfast is fully awesome. Lunch is biggly very lunchy. Love it have to invite all great leaders, before they attempt to destroy the country and the rest of the world.

This past weekend we headed out to Lanseria to finally try a surprise two course menu with a Restaurant Week Special, but first a bit about the chef. <br/><br/>Chef Daniela Gutstadt is both the owner and executive chef at Culinary Table and was trained in New York. It is a family-run business, in association with Culinary Equipment Company which was established in November 2013. <br/><br/>Culinary Table is a concept that was built around a 'garden-to-table' approach from their collection of heirloom and organic produce grown right outside the restaurant so you can actually see most of what you will be eating on your visit. What I love about Culinary Table is that they also try to shorten the chain between the source of the ingredients and how they land up on the plate.<br/><br/>Service: The service was a bit confusing as there was constantly a different waiter. Initially we started with Joseph and from there I must have counted at least three other waiters (or waitresses) who served us which I don't really understand. <br/><br/>On the meat side, Culinary Table has a 'Free To Roam' philosophy. Think sausages, burgers, prime cuts, specialized dry- and wet-aging and sous-vide cooking. <br/><br/>Onto the food:<br/>Homegrown Jerusalem Artichoke & Leek Soup served with fresh bread (Absolute perfection* and the ultimate healthy, comfort food on a  cold day).<br/>Mixed garden Herb Pesto with Homemade Gnocchi, sundried tomatoes, olives and fior di latte bocconcini.<br/>Saldanha Bay mussels, garlic, tomato and fresh parsley tossed with linguine. <br/>Grilled venison loin served with spiced lentils, chopped salad and salsa verde. I am not too sure about the combination of spiced lentils with our venison but everything else on the plate was delicious!<br/>This meal was truly a savory feast!! <br/>We enjoyed our first visit to Culinary Table and would definitely return for another lunch in the countryside.<br/> <br/><br/>For more, find me on Instagram, Facebook & Twitter: LaurasWorldza

Uncomplicated food packed with flavour. The roast chicken was honestly the best I've ever eaten - perfectly seasoned and crisp skin with moist meat. Parmesan homemade French fries are the the perfect balance of crunch on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The lamb ribs defy description...I will dream of the smokey flavour and a basting made by culinary angels. We'll be back again...and again.

Family of eight for an outing for a Sunday lunch. Venue is really nice and food was good. Very limited menu on a Sunday which was disappointing.<br/><br/>Service was a bit disorganised with meals arriving staggered. The fillets were tasty however the chef got them very under cooked.<br/><br/>Lamb curry was very good although too cold and had to be sent back for heating.

We decided to have breakfast here on our way back from a weekend getaway in the cradle. We couldn't get an outside table as it was full, but we were not complaining, we were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful decor inside. The restaurant has a nice country feel, with a deli section where you can buy a variety of goodies. I had the big breakfast with a pork sausage, it was excellent, the pork sausage was the highlight, it's been a while since I've had a breakfast this tasty! Definitely looking forward to coming back here for lunch sometime.

What a lovely patio to sit at on a Saturday afternoon! Beautiful views over the valley with the Magalies range in the distance overlooking the vegetable garden and the beautiful smell of pine emanating from the Josper oven inside. Each of us enjoyed what we had ordered, the Green Risotto, lamb chops, 1/2 chicken and for me the Fig and Serrano ham salad. We did order the Parmesan chips and asked for it to be replaced, but we were told that potatoes recently have not been good, because of the drought. The flourless chocolate cake was lovely as was the panna cotta and the creme brulee.  The menu on this site is out of date and pretty uninspiring. So don't let this put you off going, it is well worth a visit
Neil Hymers
Not worth the drive. Unremarkable/ordinary food from a limited menu. Service was hopeless. Clueless untrained waiters. Constantly had to ask for service. Yet lots of "managers" strolling around looking important. Party of 4 we had mussels, fig & serano salad & lamb rib starters. Salad was good. Mussels, lamb chops & fish mains. Mussels were plain/insipid. Other dishes plain & lacking any flavour. <br/>Not worth the 30 minute drive.

We had a lovely lunch at Culinary Table today after our cycle. Fantastic view. My mussels were delicious, my husband ordered the chicken. Our only problem was our waiter was very slow, perhaps he was new.. will return.
Andries Christine Van Staden
Food is very good quality and very tasty. The food is a bit difficult to eat not sure if you know what I mean. Very hot on the patio outside and more than normal flies. Otherwise good professional service. Food prices is actually good. I think I am just irritated with the heat otherwise I would rate a 4
Renate
A sad experience for a vegetarian! The spinach wrapped in phyllo pastry was dry and uninspiring. And if you are expecting exotic Parmesan chips, you'll be disappointed with ordinary hot chips sprinkled with nearly invisible Parmesan shavings. What a let down after reading complimentary reviews and having such high expectations.
RJ Van Rhyn
Got incredible service from Joseph, he helped me choose and organise everything for me. Food was amazing and all staff was friendly. Definitely a great visit. Will be calling again soon

We had great food at the culinary table with excellent service. I was there a few months ago and the restaurant definitely improved a lot. We had a steak salad and gorgonzola gnocchi with bacon and it was delicious. But what I like the most is that there is a restaurant, a shop that sells all types of produce and also equipment.
Mari Terblanche
Really great atmosphere, but not a good service/food experience at all. We ordered 3 waffles, one savoury, two sweet. We waited ages. Only two waffles were delivered to our table, both missing some of the toppings listed on the menu. The 3rd was burnt, and was the last one in the kitchen.
Calista
The restaurant self has a nice vibe and friendly service, but the menu only had one vegetarian dish which was very disappointing and honestly quite gross. <br/>The price I paid for what I received... not worth it.

I have been back since my review below - what seems to have changed a lot is the lack of service and attention. We left without eating due to this. a stunning Sunday lunch! Delicious mussels done in a clean French style - white wine and celery - with amazing beetroot, sweet potato and potato thick Parmesan chips - half a chicken with fresh tarragon - really tasty (Tim says best chicken he has had since he can remember) They have an excellent wine menu - none of the boring predictable wines every other JHB restaurant is offering. Followed by a delicious lavender infused creme brûlée - what a delightful lunch in the country side - will return soon. Highly recommended

Eventually got to try out Cullinary Table yesterday for lunch. I can't believe this place, is located so close to me, but yet I've never been there. What a find. The food was delicious and not badly priced. Service was great too. The deli with all the goodies is to die for. Can't wait to go back.
Tracy Smith
Unfortunately we didn't have a great meal here. Some of it was good like the Rump and chops but that was about it. We had to look for our waiter to order our drinks etc.<br/>We were there for a birthday celebrations and not one person wish us. Not one manger came to our table.<br/>I wouldn't recommend <br/>
Robyn
Just had the MOST delicious brisket on rye while looking out over the sunny veggie garden. Quick service and lovely music made for a surprisingly tranquil little retreat from the working week. Can't wait to come back for a long boozy Sunday lunch.
Nkhensani
Beautiful, beautiful setting! The garden outside with all sorts of flowers adds to the peaceful ambience.<br/>The waiters are polite but aren't very attentive. <br/><br/>The beef shin was tender and the flavours were good but I wasn't blown away, the sirloin was a bit dry, so also not the best we've tasted.<br/>The dessert was so fresh! Absolutely enjoyed that. <br/><br/>We'll definitely return and give the other Main dishes a try.

Do yourself a favor and make a morning/afternoon out of it and go to Culinary Table. It's worth the drive, it's totally worth the time and it's an experience of note. Be prepared to be wowed as it's an all-round culinary explosion. From the shop you walk through to the dining experience and open plan kitchen. Their food is fresh, menu is small but just right with great balance and their staff are attentive. The picture is of their chicken salad which could've easily fed 2 people. Make sure to have a look at their Lacanche ovens or works of art as I put it!
Mariska Meyer
Fabulous tranquil atmosphere. The food is great, the fish needed a little more seasoning. The build you own hamburger was fantastic. A little on the pricy side but you know it is fresh food and I am willing to pay more for a great product.
Andrew Rae
Disappointing Father's Day lunch <br/>7 of 9 meals well below par. Undercooked oxtails, flavourless and uncleaned muscles and clams still with beards on. Poor service with orders being forgotten, waiting long times for ice and drinks. Lamb neck gnocchi was good, but not a saviour. Won't be back
Samantha Gabriel
I simply love this restaurant... The food is amazing / the service was great and we love sitting on the balcony and looking at the magnificent garden
Adrian Viljoen
On 5th we went to this our favourite in the area for a birthday lunch.<br/>It was absolutely shocking. Service was terrible as was the food. The chef is a prima-donna who does not in any way try to accommodate vegetarians. This arrogant attitude is not born out by her cooking abilities. The chicken was raw and the R196 steak was cold. Her idea to heat it was to put it in the oven!!!! Thereafter inedible. This poor quality is hard to understand against a two hour wait from order to table. When addressing these concerns to Daniela in a nice way she simply fobbed us off as being overly demanding.
Keabetswe Jessica Ramatsie
Great little jewel the in the West. The steak was beautifully done with a atmosphere cosy. Definitely will return with family. Enjoying the goodies we brought home
Melissa Grobbelaar
Beautiful views of the herb garden. We enjoyed a slow Mothers Day lunch on the veranda. The charcuterie and cheese board was delicious, paired with a fantastic 2004 red blend wine. We also enjoyed the pesto gnocchi, although the pesto was a bit overwhelming (personal taste). Mains included the duck breast, salmon and the 600g sirloin on the bone. Very tasty food, and well presented. The service was a bit slow, but we were not in a hurry at all. <br/><br/>We will visit again.

Booked a while ago on the recommendation of a colleague for a brunch / lunch date with Clive Vanderwagen-Julicher, on our weekend away. <br/><br/>What a delight. The shops within the venue are gorgeous and the not insubstantial veggie garden a delight to walk through. <br/><br/>We had a three course lunch, everything was delicious and the service just right.<br/><br/>The almost perfect afternoon was only slightly affected but the "scrambled eggish" lavender crème brûlée and the arrival of hot milk with the coffee despite asking for cold milk.<br/><br/>There must be a in-house joke we're not getting when it comes to hot milk in place of cold.

Delicious Breakfast! So fresh ! Really good service . Love this place for breakfast . Awesome coffee !!! Nice and different to sit outside with the beautiful view.

Awesome breakfast with the family. Everyone delighted with their food from mushrooms on toast to waffles, and great coffee as well. Only complaint they should add a health bread option I.e not only white and rye but a wholewheat brown.

Having a sneaky visit back to JHB this weekend, and after flying in from lanseria this is the perfect breakfast pitstop!<br/><br/>Super nice really spacious place with clean fresh minimal decor. The coolest part is they grow their own veggies outside and use them fresh in your meals!!!<br/><br/>Had the eggs benedict hollandaise which was really good. To be honest probably not as good as what I've had in cape town - but still really nice. My mum had the mushroom toast, which was nice, but their was literally an army of mushrooms on the toast. Mushroom toast is no joke!<br/><br/>Overall an enjoyable experience and will prehaps visit again on another airport journey!

I have previously had an amazing breakfast here, the coffee here can rival most coffee shops, I was most disappointed with the 4 course Valentines meal I had here today. <br/>I had booked in advance, and were specifically asked which time slot we wanted. I chose the earlier 4-7pm option. And of course given previously high standard experienced before, did not request a menu, nor was one provided.<br/>We arrived promptly at 4pm, to find the kitchen staff having their break meal, seated in the furthest most squashed corner of the balcony, nothing romantic about this seating.<br/>The service from there was just not the greatest. There was no urgency in making our visit special or making us feel welcome. It took a half hour before any1 explained the menu and the wine or beer pairing option that was included in the meal.<br/>As our meal proceeded to be served, we would be almost done with the option served before the payed wine would arrive. My husband explained to the waiter that we would like to have the pairing together, and he made a extra effort to make sure the drinks were there at least before the meal arrived.<br/>The meal itself, was not worth the money. Gnocchi in sage butter sauce, rocket with porcini mushrooms, topped with slivers of cheese. There was nothing special about our mains, pieces, not a fillet, of salmon served on spinach with a hollandaise sauce. I can get that at Mugg &Bean really, didn't need to make the special effort to go the Culinary Table. My husband ordered the beef fillet medium rare, it came rare. <br/>The entire experience was bland, impersonal, over-priced and nothing special, considering it was Valentine's Day dinner.<br/>Completely not worth the money we paid. <br/>Want to do a great wine/beer tasting for the same price? I recommend Roots.<br/><br/>

Oh my goodness what a little hidden gem! So to be honest, we stopped here after a 100km cycle, so I feel sorry for this really posh restaurant! We were sweaty and starving. They have a stunning outside area (where the cyclists are allowed to sit) and a very elegant and beautiful inside area. The staff is so friendly and attentive! The coffee is good and the breakfast is seriously delicious and beautifully presented. I can't wait to be back for a lunch. I am so impressed!

After our cycle, the culinary has become a favorite coffee and breakfast stop<br/>The staff are attentive and the coffee strong<br/>The best part about the breakfast is that they are NOT generic and there is a little twist.<br/>There is a great deli and store after eating, but be warned the prices are well above average.<br/>

It is a nice surprise. I love the set up of industrial meet agriculture meets culinary. Staff is friendly. Food was quick to come off the grill. I had a cheese hamburger with chip. Not wow but better then other places. Definitely will be back. Priced reasonable

Lovely place. Always nice and very artesian. Well priced for the quality you get. Only downfall is that it closes at 5, but the kitchen closes at 3 so we arrived after that and could only order from the deli or desserts, but unfortunately we are on a no bread no sugar challenge, so we unfortunately couldn't eat

On our way to Lanseria with time on our hands. We made a quick visit to this place. Very surprised by what we encountered. <br/><br/>The place is neat and the food was great. All the ingredients were fresh and exceptionally delicious. We are a health conscious family so a place like this caters well for us.<br/><br/>Seeing their desserts though we had to make the trip worthwhile. Their macaroons our simply amazing. Went for a beetroot flavoured one. The plating of the dessert was so special. Every element of the dish was refined and so good. <br/><br/>Definitely worth a visit!!!

A wonderful experience! Went for breakfast with friends last week and stayed until after lunchtime. Loved the deli, the service was great and the food was delicious. Being able to book online in real time was a bonus - I hate phoning to make reservations. Will be back!

I was very disappointed with my experience at The Culinary Table. It is definitely a stunning restaurant, beautiful decorated with a very elegant and sophisticated feel. The patio overlooking the vegetable garden is perfect for sunny days. Unfortunately everything else, from to service to the food was incredibly disappointing. I asked the waitress to point out the items on the menu which are banting friendly. She had no idea and went to ask the chef. She then came back to tell me that I could order anything without carbs & butter. Uhm, you can image the confused look on my face. She then told me I must go to the kitchen and talk to the chef. Sorry, what? I told her I was the customer and the chef should come to me. The chef eventually came to the table with a terrible attitude as if I was inconveniencing her and her help was extremely vague. I thought it would be safest to order a chicken salad, which actually sounded great, with baby marrow, cucumber, feta, seed mix and nuts. When it arrived at the table it was a few pieces of lettuce with some roast chicken and a couple of nuts. What a joke. I obviously sent it back and asked them to make it according to the menu which they did, but rather poorly. Not going back.

I am so happy I finally got to visit The Culinary Table- what a beautiful place. From the outside you don’t really expect to walk into a gorgeous restaurant, deli and kitchen shop. <br/><br/>They have their own little oasis of herbs, organic vegetables and young fruit trees growing in their kitchen garden. I love the fact that they support small local farmers who are as passionate about the way they raise their herds and flocks and as a result they only serve organic meat. <br/><br/>They have an extensive wine list and they serve fresh fruit juices. <br/><br/>Their menu is super small, which is always a plus. The whole table ordered the white wine mussels with a white wine, garlic and butter broth, chips and homemade mayo. It was out of this world. The flavours were so well balanced, the portions were extremely generous and the attention to detail was second to none. <br/><br/>The service was outstanding, our waitress was knowledgeable and attentive.
Lisa
The look of the place is clean and natural. But I was not impressed with the food, expensive for very average food. The first time I went I had their chicken salad and unfortunately I had some food poisoning. But I tried it again and had their toasted cheese. Service is slow
Arno Boshoff
The perfect restaurant for a quality meal, good wine, pantry stock-up and exceptional choice of kitchen appliances and utensils. My Rib-eye steak was grilled to perfection. The fresh vegetables from the garden, next to the patio, was complimented with a light lemon butter sauce. Highly recommended. The poor service from one of the waiters prevented a 5 rating.

I was pleasantly surprised at this beautifully layout restaurant.. Very friendly staff that greeted us , efficient service throughout the meal. We stared off with a beetroot and butternut salad that tasted as if it was just picked from their garden. Which they grow all their own herbs in front of the restaurant. Very well designed herb garden, which is a focal point in front of the restaurant.<br/>I had the the rotisserie chicken and chips which was so juicy and flavourful.. My friend had the ribeye steak and chips which she loved.. I loved the simplicity of the food! Unfortunately no space for dessert just a cappuccino to end off a great lunch.. I can highly recommend it.. It has a great deli with a great variety of yummy things.. I will certainly return soon to try some other dishes.. Well priced and worth the drive into the country . Although I stay down the road , so I'am lucky..@

Lovely lunch out in lanseria. <br/>Good food. Good service and beautiful setting. Real little hidden gem!<br/>Veggie garden is amazing lots of variety that goes straight on to their menu.

I ate from their stand at the Sanlam Fair in Hyde Park and I was thoroughly impressed. I tried their beef bruschetta with wild mushroom sauce and had a taste of their Chicken. The food was cooked perfectly. Every single bite was a tiny explosion in my mouth. Will definitely go back to try their restaurant. #zomatoxhmc

Just love this place - and even more now it's summer and we can sit outside on the terrace and enjoy the sights of seeing chefs actually cutting what will be in someone's meal from the garden.  In the past, each meal I've had here has been delightful (including the best hake I can ever remember) but breakfast last week was a true delight.  Great service as usual and able to do shopping in the deli on the way out!  Coming back for lunch on 22 October and cannot wait to see what will be on the ever changing menu.

Great concept! <br/>Good execution.<br/>Tomato cocktail way too much pepper. <br/>Presentation of the food, very good! <br/>Expected more for some reason!<br/><br/>

Most unexpected venue from the outside but a lovely space and ambience. We had the Mezze platter to start which was a selection of olives, homemade hummus, bringals, roasted peppers and Mozzarella. Everything was fresh and tasty. Main courses of fish and rump which were enjoyed but the fish was not amazing. They have a deli with interesting items for sale. Loved that part and the veggie gardens at the back!!

We were there a long time ago, when the restaurant was not up and running, and it was only a warehouse full of culinary goods. Any chef's dream to shop there. On fathersday we had breakfast there. The breakfast was great, the portions was good. The staff friendly. The outside herb garden impressive! All the herbs in the garden they use in their cooking. Definitely a treat to go. Had the eggs benedict with spinach. Eggs was poached perfectly soft, spinach was fresh and seasoned well. Will go back for lunch sometime. 👍 #ZomatoTopStar

Wow. What a lovely setting and the food speaks volumes, it doesn't matter what you order it's all great, presented beautifully and tastes amazing. Overlooking a very well kept veggie garden makes for a great family venue

I've eaten at Culinary twice and both times the food was lovely, I particularly enjoyed the duck. <br/>The service was good and such a pleasure to go somewhere quiet. It was worth the trip out with a good friend.

Love the patio & vegetable garden. The inside has a lovely feel & furnishings are great. Sunday lunch was very disappointing, staff are not adequately trained. The salads were tasty. After ordering our mains, I was told salmon was not available. The other mains arrived after a very long wait & the replacement main arrived 20 mins after. All the vegetables were cold. There is a lot of potential & because it has a country feel & only a few minutes out of Fourways, it could become very popular. For the prices being charged, Either more staff or better trained staff in the kitchen & on the floor is needed, as well as a hands on manager / owner should be on site to pick up problems before guests have to complain.<br/>

This was a great experience. The location was actually unexpected. Once inside it feels like you are on a farm. Service impeccable. Great wine list. The cheese and meat platters could have been a bit more bigger although delicious. Pulled pork burger absolutely devine. I would highly recommend this venue for any special occasion or nice Sunday afternoon outside the hustle and bustle.<br/> <br/>

Been wanting to eat here for some time, and was totally disappointed. Took my mother and son with me for Saturday lunch. For starter we ordered a side salad with extra avo and a meat and cheese platter. It took 45 minutes to arrive. The platter was fine, a bit small, but the meats and cheese were of a good quality and the bread was tasty. The salad also was absolutely fine. The mains took another 30 to 45 minutes to arrive. The sirloin steak at a whopping R185 was dry and tasteless and the pumpkin was totally cold. (On a positive note they did bring a warm portion). I have made much tastier steak at home, and was not impressed by the dish at all. My son had duck and was totally underwhelmed as well. There was obviously a problem in the kitchen, and I commend the waiters for their excellent service with very hungry patrons. We all agreed to get dessert somewhere else. The venue is very nice, but considering the bill was almost R600, I feel it was not worth the money. I have had much more fulfilling meals at other venues.

The Culinary Table has a lovely deli section that sells balsamic vinegar, vanilla extract, delicious sticky nougat and so much more. The restaurant itself has an industrial meets 1920s feel. The patio outside is breathtaking overlooking one of the healthiest veggie gardens I have seen in a long time, the produce is used in the restaurant of course. Now for the food, I had the sole with roasted veggies and a baked potato. The sole was well prepared with chunks of lemon ontop, delicious although perhaps a bit salty for my taste. The roasted veggies was amazing, you could taste it was char grilled and not over cooked, there was peppers, fennel, beetroot and carrots,so yummy. The rest of the table had the rotisserie chicken and my nieces had the cheese sandwich (I had a bite, it oozed with cheddar and mozzarella and the bread was so good) and the home made pasta with Napolitano sauce. The whole table was happy with their meals and the service was great. It is perhaps a bit pricey but other than that a nice outing.

We had a chicken burger for lunch the other day (half chips & half salad). Hands down the best burger I have had in South Africa! We could not stop raving about this for hours afterwards. Everything on the plate was organic, either made in the restaurant or sourced locally. I will surely try everything on the menu as time passes! Meluleki Sibanda

After visiting the Culinary table earlier the week and thoroughly enjoying the duck confit (with a berry sauce), I decided to take the wife today.<br/>I told her that we are in for a treat. The restaurant is beautiful, the deli has interesting things to buy.<br/><br/>Unfortunately the food was poor!<br/><br/>After reading up and down the menu, and reading it again just to confirm, I thought by myself - let's pay for the coffee and go! (The coffee was great though!) - if only we did.<br/>The Mrs eventually went for the rotisserie chicken - dry, tasteless with overcooked vegetables (broccoli pale and watery....)<br/>What is more, recently I've told myself to stop ordering lamb shank from restaurants (as I can not remember when last I had a good one in the past 6 tries - any suggestions from the foodies??). I did not feel like hake and chips, or duck confit with white beans, and after seeing the sirloin at the table next to us, the remaining option - tasteless, dry lamb shank with oily stir fry veg.<br/>Sad to say - not recommended :-(<br/>I will in future first read their menu before making the decision to stay and eat (I often visit the culinary shop looking for equipment). Take note that the menu changes often, so you can hit a fantastic dish here for sure (as I did earlier the week) - but they are clearly not good at consistently providing great dishes. This makes it hard for me to recommend friends, as I'm not sure what booby prizes they might encounter on their visit.......<br/><br/>How I Rate and review an establishment :<br/>1: Terrible, will never return will never recommend.<br/>2: Ok, not worth special effort, I can make the food better at home...<br/>3: Satisfied, restaurant offer good service and satisfactory food, the money paid is in line with quality of food received.<br/>4: A gem, worth visiting for a treat or special occations and referring friends.<br/>5: The very rare and best - fine dining, incredible food, presentation, and service. Honestly no more than 6 such places in South Africa !<br/><br/>Establishment: continental, deli<br/>Related restaurants in this class: a la Bouffe (Linden) - due to the often changing French cuisine, but la Bouffe is much better!<br/><br/>Food - 2/10<br/>Service 8/10<br/>Romantic factor 8/10<br/>Decor 9/10<br/>Value 9/10<br/>Satisfaction 3/10 (at the end of the day I don't care about all the other side shows, I can handle a rude chef, or ugly decore, but the food is the fundamental contributor to overall satisfaction)<br/><br/>Lastly take note- I do not have time to review every chicken coop that sell food or to rate typical places, we all know what you get at these establishments and the average person does not need advice on eating at your local Debonairs or Spur!<br/>

A well kept secret, one of my favourite lunch spots. Good personal service. Small menu but everything prepared fresh. They have a wonderful herb garden and good coffee bar. Nice wines and a lovely deli. The West coast mussels are amazing. A treat.

This is one of my favourite places! The setting is beautiful, the staff are very friendly and the food is epic! The drive is worth it - it's an experience to dine here.<br/><br/>This was first time here since they've expanded the restaurant and it looks wonderfu!. Will definitely be back!

The setting is very very nice.  I love the herb garden outside.  It is a bit far out though.  The service is a bit slow, the waiters friendly.<br/><br/>The food - I love the fact that they sell from farm to table and know exactly where the food comes from and ensure that most of their meats are free range.  However, they do not do justice to the wonderful products they use.  Their bolognaise sauce I found to be average.  Their cheese board not worth the price for what you get.  The last time I was there I ordered a burger, it took them two tries to get it the way I asked for and both times they missed it.  I asked for it well done (which should be the easiest to do as you cook it to death).  Eventually I gave up and left without eating.  Their salads are way overdressed, it is too acidic and I like acidic.  Also had the duck salad which was basically inedible due to the fact that the dressing was not balanced. <br/><br/>I feel for the long drive it is not worth going there unless you are going to do shopping in the shop as well.

WOW. Amazing come as you are dress not to important it seams. Comfy chairs wooden tables crystal glasses....... fantastic drinks menu, try the beer. BOOK IN ADVANCE<br/>Menu changes daily. Freshly prepared organic .... too many adjectives needed food.<br/><br/>Waiters need to be more aware, they are very busy. They tend to not follow up on smaller tables. <br/><br/>A must!<br/>

Good experience but disappointing how they exploit their clients on special occasions compared to normal days. The food was of a very high standard and prepared from scratch. My husband and sons ordered fillet steak and was not asked how they want it prepared. We ordered their house wine Lindhorst - Statement 2007 red wine and was quite disappointed as it had a large amount of sediment. The look and feel is upmarket and welcoming - family friendly.
Berno Verwey
Was not asked how I would like my steak done (rare, medium, well-done) and ordered a wine which had quite a bit of residue towards the end of the bottle.

My friends raved over this restaurant … I was skeptic.  From the road, it looked ‘industrial and cold’.   YOU MUST VISIT!!!<br/><br/>The inside of the restaurant is quite spacious.  Big fridges display various kinds of mature meat cuts, smoked duck breasts, Pineapple cordials and different cheeses.<br/><br/>On the one side of the restaurant, shelves are stacked with miniature little bottles (7 ml) filled with Balsamic Vinegar (lovely hostess gift), bags of rice / grains, mustards and and and ….  It really is a pleasure strolling through the shelves and finding new products.<br/><br/>But the real treat of Culinary Table … is outside!  A long undercover patio (about 8 – 10 tables) overlooks the vegetable garden.  Planted in long raised ‘beds’, it’s a real treat looking at the vegetables and trying to name them.  Metal pipes spout water in a basin and the birds loooove it.<br/><br/>Service is excellent.  Linen napkins with a button hole to prevent spills are a really clever touch.<br/><br/>Saturday 22 October 2016<br/>I ordered the Savoury waffle with bacon, honey and goat's cheese.  It's absolutely yummy!!!!  A nice crispy piece of waffle, topped with a stack of crispy crispy bacon!  The goat's cheese is nice and salty and the honey drizzled over .... Sublime!<br/><br/>Hein had the Haddock and eggs.  Really nice haddock and scrambled eggs with amazing rye slices of bread, with aniseeds in.<br/><br/>Saturday, 14 May 2016<br/>Hein had the Big Breakfast with the most delicious pork sausage seasoned with fennel!  It really is amazing!  And the sausage is for sale in their deli fridge.  I had the savory waffle, topped with bacon, poached egg and served with goat cheddar cheese and honey.  Deelish!  The bacon is pork belly bacon and really tasty and delicious.<br/><br/>2015<br/>Cheese board was my lunch choice – few different choices of cheeses, lovely tart raspberry preserve, walnuts sprinkled on top and about 3-4 slices of homemade bread.  Rosehip and Hibiscus tea – it’s pink but has no flavor.<br/><br/>The Apple Clafoutis was a smart choice.  Even served cold (for some reason I thought they would heat it) it was lovely.  Old-fashioned Milktart filling with slices of apple in-between.<br/><br/>1 July 2015 - Breakfast.  I had the Breakfast stack ... a toasted slice of sourdough bread, topped with crushed tomato, grilled Halloumi cheese and an egg.  It was really delightful and surprisingly filling.  A side order of chips ... seasoned with herbs and golden-crisp.  Fabulous.<br/><br/>(9 May 2015) We arrived just after 9am.  Bernard greeted us at the front and we chose a table on the patio.  Hein chose the big breakfast (R78).  It had eggs, deeeeelicious bacon (thin and crispy), mushrooms, toast and a choice between lamb, chicken or pork sausage.  Hein chose the pork sausage.  OMW!  The sausage was thick and soooo flavorsome!!!  I'm sure I tasted fennel in it.  (On Friday, 15 May 2015 I specifically went there to buy the raw sausage for a braai.  Its a bit expensive at R98/kg but oh gosh - sooo worth it.)<br/><br/>My choice was the frittata.  Well.  It's the size of a side plate.  Thin, but with amazing crispy edges.  Filled with cubes of roasted butternut, eggplant and feta - served with toast.  Topped with fresh rocket leaves.  For R48, this was just amazing!!!  Seasoning was perfect, every bite a pleasure.  Some hot sauces were served in bottles (Amazon) - the Habanero Mustard sauce is amazing!!!!!<br/><br/>I'm now totally in love with this venue ... and their food ... and their service ... and the patio overlooking the veggie garden.  <br/><br/>Sitting out on the patio is so relaxing, I will definitely go again.

Very pleasant little surprise tucked behind a top notch catering supply store. Beautiful French style overlooking an organic veggie garden. Simple classic menu of the best quality.

An unexpected pleasure! From the directions on Zamato I was expecting a country venue not an industrial looking centre. Zomato need to update this! However, this said, I enjoyed the shop/ deli setting. The service from phoning to book to paying the bill was excellent! The food was fresh and delicious! Not cheap, but worth it! You have the added fun of browsing through the shop and deli as well!

Food, service and location was great! Tasty beef burger with plenty fries. Nice wine list with plenty of fresh food options to take away for later.

Worth the short drive from Jhb. Great food, generous portions, nice wine list. All food made from fresh organic ingredients. Superb selection of "take home fresh organic foods".

Good food and very reasonable prices. Only problem was my burger was very rare (I normally like rare but it was almost raw) and when I asked them to slightly cook it more, it came back burnt as if they had forgotten it on the grill. Salad was very nice, good serving size and best chips and mayo around <br/>
