One of the best places I have ever been to. Very cozy. Friendly staff. Nice pool table. Awesome food that is a wide variety to choose from. Always something nice on special food wise. Great artwork on the walls.

The girls in the pub was really excellent. We went there specifically to watch the CC final between Cheetahs and Pumas. They bent over backwards to accommodate us. Even the crowd behaved very well seeing that it was not even their team (WP) that played. The starter that we ordered at the bar was very good and fresh...the drinks were on time every time. Now for the little mishap. Seeing that I had recently a big heart operation, I'm getting tired easily. So we decided to get take aways and eat it in the comfort our guesthouse kitchen. After waiting for about 2 hours we collected the food which was substandard..I could not even finish my milkshake.

We by chance found this place as the garage shops were closed and we were hungry and on our way to Calitzdorp. It was 9h15pm ona Sunday. We ordered a pizza and Chips to go. Must be honest we did not have high expectations as it's also a pub with a pool table.The staff was really nice and friendly. Very helpful. The pizza was absolutely delicious, was one of the best pizza's I've ever had with a really thin base. Flavoursome 👌💕 I'm sorry I underestimated them 😊😅 We will definitely be going back

Maud se Gat is one of the most famous pub's and restaurants in town. Friendly and helpful assistants. Their weekly specials and happy hours plus music and other entertainment attracting locals and tourists. Pleasant atmosphere and vibe!
