A really lovely place to have a drink and grab some incredibly tasty food, with a view to boot. We've had almost everything on the menu and it's all fresh and flavorful, not to mention the awesome Birkenhead honey blond. Service can be a little slow but the staff is super friendly and it's not fast food, after all! Besides, the view is to die for. Highly recommend.
I'm a regular at this wonderful cocktail bar and bistro that epitomises everything that's good in the seaside village of Kleinmond.
Food great, staff excellent views beautiful and atmosphere simply uniquely fantastic. The bonus is they have Birkenhead Ale and Honey beer on draught!
Highly recommended you'd be mad not to visit!

The sushi is surprisingly good at this quiet 'pubby' spot in Kleinmond. Off the beaten track, this is a must do for any sushi-lovers. The views are stunning and staff friendly and helpful.
Always a nice place to enjoy stunning views and lekker food. Tuesdays and Thursdays are a must for calamari hake fans as the combo is 50% off, Wednesdays and Fridays are 'must go there days' for Sushi lovers as they are half price. Staff is also very friendly.
Stopped for a drink here en-route to Cape Town. Plentiful parking, seating with a great view, friendly patrons and staff and great drinks specials. As close to you'll get as a drink on the beach.
On our way back from Arabella we decided to pop in to this little gem of a place. Location, location, location. A view to die for and the best sushi I remember ever having. Beer served in frosted glasses. Mussel chowder and calamari was great too.

My only gripe... please serve proper bread with your chowder. I suggest some toasted chiabata. It will really make a huge difference.
Superb view of a pristine beach from the outdoor seating area. They have excellent seafood and meat dishes. The cappuccino has the perfect froth. They have a toilet for people with mobility issues on the same level as the restaurant.
Stopped over for lunch on our way to Sandbaai. We sat outside on the deck with beautiful views of the sea and beach. The service was good and the food scrumptious. An extremely pleasant interlude on our journey!

An incredibly perfect setting with great Birkenhead lager, good fish & chips, excellent Mozart cake, finished off with divine Dom Pedro's... the waves from this river mouth setting boasted the biggest waves, making for a perfect afternoon in the sun 🌞
Had a fantastic brunch there on Sunday morning! Bloody Mary and great food! Love the view of the beach! Lovely ambience! Alcohol served from 9am.

My fiancé and I went here for dinner and some sun downers. I had the fish of the day and he had the steak. The food was fresh and cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly and the view was stunning, which was complimented by the music played in the background. A really beautiful way to end off a Sunday!
Very friendly staff members. Our dogs were welcomed and treated to a complimentary bowl of water. Great vibes and an absolutely incredible view. I would definitely recommend Sandown Blues if you’re in the area.

Overall friendly staff, the food is nice, reasonably priced, the view makes the place. Spectacular. Always enjoy the seagulls stopping by for the chance at a easy snack 😋
