Quaint and quirky little restaurant, finely decorated and cleverly placed amongst the residential area of Kenilworth. (And I quote: " You could definitely pop in here in the morning before heading out for the day.") The restaurant is literally a converted house, cleverly planned out and situated in between the houses. The back area is especially nice, spacious and relaxed.
A few friends and I had brunch here, on a Sunday, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Food was very much worth the price and of a good quality.
Staff could use a bit of a confidence boost and could possibly be quicker on their feet but, regardless, they were all polite and helpful.
*I noticed that it is also kid friendly with a basic little kids section for their amusement
Lovely Coffee House
Devine cappuccinos or freshly squeezed juice, everything is so delicious.
Kiddies play area and a lovely outside courtyard.
Highly recommend 👍🏼
Favourite little coffee house! Tucked away on a quaint little street in Kenilworth this gem has not only great coffee, food and staff! They also have a wonderful cosy atmosphere, a great outside area with an amazing kids section! Definitely worth a try!

What a wonderful place to study. This place is child friendly , pet friendly. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and I suggest anyone to go there. It's in a quiet neighborhood and it's safe. I had a late breakfast and can I say these people are generous with their food.
Actually tried this place using a delivery, so I wasn't able to get a pretty picture. The food is nice, not anything to rave about. What I really want to commend them on is their chocolate cake ! There was a mistake on my delivery so it took a bit longer, so they threw in a free piece of cake for the extra wait (the staff was super friendly and kept checking up on me to make sure I got my order) , the cake is REALLY REALLY good, I'm not even a dessert person so I was really impressed.
Ordered a wrap through UberEats last week and I was pleasantly surprised at how big the wrap was! The filling was great and there was enough of everything inside it. I also just ordered their burger with bacon and avo through UberEats and it was well worth the money! The patty was juicy and the bacon was so crispy. The hand cut chips were also great. After reading all the reviews about how child friendly they are, I'll definitely be visiting the restaurant in the near future.
Having shopped all morning, we stopped at Chino' s for a quick lunch. My boyfriend and I both ordered their bacon and avo burgers and they were nice enough to accommodate slight substations for each.
The burgers were good but mine was a little too rare in some spots in the middle for my liking. Being super hungry, I was happy to rather cut out the super rare bits than send it back. When our waitress came to take our plates, she noticed the bits of burger on the side and asked about it -she apologised and I saw her showing the plate to who I assumed the manager was.
Service is generally pretty friendly and swift. However, we were offered tomato sauce for our chips, said we'd love some and then didn't get any. Not a major trainsmash, but consistent good service is something that could be worked on.
The coffee shop itself is quite cute with shelves of delicious goodies to buy. They also sell frozen meals which is nice to know!
Other good points include:
● the amazing children's play area - lovely toys for toddlers and young kids. The area is near tables so you can keep an eye on your children with ease. Would definitely recommend this place for those dining with tiny humans!
● they're on the entertainer app, making their already affordable food really easy on the wallet!
●very quiet, nice alternative to meeting at a coffee shop in a nearby mall.
In spite of the burger blunder, I'd be happy to return. I saw other diners' iced coffee and open sandwiches and everything looked delicious!
Ordered a roast veg salad as a takeaway from ubereats. The salad portion was huge! Everything was fresh and the red pepper hummus in it was so tasty!
What a beautifully decorated little café that's not only pretty and inviting but also very child-friendly. The service wasn't really great but the food was tasty and served within 15 minutes. I ordered the aubergine bake with tomato, mozzarella, basil and topped with grilled cheese. Although it was very oily, the flavours were delicious. My mom ordered then open sandwich with smoked salmon, cucumber and cream cheese. The portions were decent and the meals were filling and flavourful. Despite the staff not being very friendly, I'd still go back to try their breakfast items or other light lunches.
Visited Chinos for a couple cups of coffee this morning. Had a great experience. Discovered this place from Groupon and it did not disappoint.
I absolutely love this place and so happy I came across it. Wonderful coffee and stunning venue. Haven’t tried the food yet, but I’ll be back again soon. Nice background music and the decor is lovely. And for me, free WiFi is always a win 😊
Used the venue to host a baby shower.
It was really intimate, the food quality was great presentation and tasting.

Wonderful quaint restaurant situated in the southern suburbs neighbourhood. Spacious seating areas, inside and outside, with a space for children to play as well.
The food is delicious. Certainly recommend the veggie burger with sweet potato fries. Combined with a great selection of freshly squeezed juices.
Staff are friendly and very accomodating.
They also glady accept the Entertainer.
Found it while looking for breakfast on Google maps.
Great portions, friendly service, food is well prepared.
Decor and furniture are fresh and light even on an overcast day.
The house goes quite a long way back so it's bigger inside than the roadfront entrance suggests.
It's a little off the beaten track but only 3 minutes from your other favourite haunts in the area so I suggest you add it to your list.
We had breakfasts called "the poached" and "Classic" bacon was as I like it almost no fat eggs were packed as required and Scramble was good too.
We say on the big leather couch in the corner. They've got card, Zapper and Snapscan. So you don't have a wait for the bill paying which a definite plus for me :-) get along there I think you'll be glad to have another pop in place.
Alcohol is served from 11am.
They open at 7:30am.
I came here because I heard there was a play area. It was raining like crazy so I'm not sure if there is outside play potential, but the indoor play area really is not that large. It will become crowded very quickly, and I think it's pitched at children under 3. There are mostly pretend play items, eg. Little plates with felt sandwich items and cups, pots etc. Food was good, kiddies menu also nice.
They serve a lovely breakfast and a delicious lunch! Can't go wrong here with the price and value for money! A definite if you are looking to have a quiet breakfast and cup of coffee!
Fantastic atmosphere, great food and drinks. They cater for all, prices are good and worth the money. Friendly staff and the place is so comfy.
We were so happy to find a restaurant that understood our food intolerances and went out of their way to accommodate us. The food was tasty and the portions good. A charming unassuming restaurant.
Service can be a bit slow and sometimes they are out of stock or certain menu items. But generally it's a very nice place to go, especially for gluten free or Banting food.
Chinos Coffee House is amazing
Delicious cappuccinos and Lemon meringue or fresh squeezed juices.
There is a kiddies play area and a beautiful outside Courtyard.
I will be back 😁
