Great place to have lunch or dinner. Definitely one of my favorites. Will visit on every occasion possible. Trading times allow for later visits over the weekend.
The kids love eating at Spur and today was one of those days.
We were served by James and he quickly ushered us to the outside dining area next to the play area. The play area is quite well equipped and both my 6-year old and 20-month old had an activity that kept them entertained.
We ordered the burger meal for the older child and nuggets for the baby, and they both devoured their meals to our amazement.
My wife and I ordered the Wednesday special of ribs and chicken which we both enjoyed.
The waiter was good he checked on us frequently and interacted well with the kids.
It's our neighbourhood Spur and we will definitely return.
Mmmm the best spur meal i had in forever... really enjoyed the jalepeno and cheese steak. Koodos to spur at Norkem Mall . i am impressed. Celebrating Grandpa bday
Nice place to visit. Big place to accommodate lots of people and lots of facilities for kids. Service came with a smile. Bathroom was fairly clean. The layout of the place is weird. Able to pay by Zapper and cashier was not professional.
I should be going to this Spur a lot more than I do because it is literally a walk from my house. But I usually go to Spurs further away. Their buffalo wings are the best and whenever my friend and I have a bit of extra money and want to grab some drinks and catch up, that's where we go - the local Spur. Nothing exciting really, I guess because it's just here so it's not much of an experience. But it's a nice spot for families to go and enjoy with kids. There's a play area that my 9-year-old brother enjoys, even if he's a little too old for it. The service is friendly and the staff is just always so welcoming. Been craving serious meat so I plan to take a drive up and sit down for some Spur ribs soon.

I'm one that prefers to support none franchise restaurants especially when one listens to the owners passion about how he or she started the restaurant and what drives him or her to make it a success. P loves the Chedamelt Schnitzel so hey its a bit of give and take so I decided to give.
We went to our local Spur, a fee blocks from where we live.
Wow it's enormous inside, there and loads and loads of nooks and crannies where tables and benches are stuffed in. You can see that it is a family restaurant where kids can enjoy their time from colouring in little pictures to playing video games or eve playing on the jungle gym. You will be delighted to know that I did not play on the jungle gym.. LOL
The ambiance is very relaxed and friendly. During peak times it really gets busy, you can see the people devouring their favorite meals from wings to ribs to burgers to onion rings. Personally I am not a fan of the Spur franchise but I must give credit where credit is due, the service was really good. The waitress was attentive and listened, P had her Chedamelt craving satisfied while I decided to be all daring and try the burger. I heard good things about the spur burger so I was expecting this amazing burger, sadly I wasn't down.. I have had much better elsewhere but it was an ok burger. P was thrilled with her Chedamelt steak, to me it just felt like a production line of food going in raw and out cooked the Spur way.. like I said if you a fan of Spur than you will enjoy it but after trying awesome steak houses, than this is less than average (just being honest). If you looking for just a fun night out with fun and smiles and their signature synchronised dancing than come here.. Food is average.. not the best but certainly not the worst..
We had a lovely visit to the Spur. The servers were friendly, accommodating to our requests and efficient, and the food was lovely. Everyone had a smile and I can recommend a visit to this Spur, especially if you have children.
Very family friendly. We enjoyed today's food and the home away from home atmosphere. Love bringing my family here. Keep it up!
The little kids love the play area. It's the older 8-11 year older kids that I feel are not adequately catered for outside especially at night. Not enough lighting which makes the play area unsafe

After visiting Brave Hawk Spur for more than 23 years, we encountered one very unpleasant experience and voiced our concern.
The management followed up and restored the years of trust in our local family restaurant!

It was such a lovely experience especially after I got rejected by Running Waters Spur at Festival Mall. The crew at Brave Hawk was friendly and welcoming, courtesy of Waiter Thato😘😍🥰. Such a humble and gentle Waiter👏👌.

I took my wife for her birthday to this Spur.
The service we got was totally regrettably and made my wife regret her day forever.
We got burnt Ribs as per picture. Service was poor.
We had to go to the reception to ask for service.
It took another 15 minutes for us to be attended and all we had waited for such a long time was burnt Ribs.
The quantity was questionable.
The service of the waiter has so much to be questioned and left a bundle to be desired.
So disappointed.
My wife said never again shall we go to this Spur.
Hence we have been going to this Spur for years since is the closest for us.
Please improve
One of the best Spur branches in Gauteng. The food was prepared to perfection. The staff are well trained & friendly. Highly recommend Brave Hawk Spur Steak Ranch.
We enjoyed our spring day cool night out atmosphere.giggling laughing out loud. Didn't realize we were the last patrons ☺️
