What an amazing restaurant! We went on a Friday evening, and the place was packed. The owner personally arranged a table to accommodate us. The food was devine, service was exceptional and the vibe was even better. After having been there before, the owner recognised us, conversed with us and even came to greet us outside before leaving. I am very impressed and would highly recommend this place.
Just had a Portuguese tripe dish that I could have willingly swam in. A delicious, unpretentious Dobrada Guisada, made of ox tripe, blood sausage, chorizo, pork belly, beans and carrots - an absolute carnival of happiness.
Had the best time, friendly staff, good food, a nice family restaurant. Will definitely go there again & recommend this place to family and friends.
Friends told us there's a good restaurant in this area, not sure if this was the intended one but oh word...what a good find. We've been back already. We have several authentic Portuguese restaurant favourites, so nothing out of the extra-ordinary here.
But it all just come together...the background music is good, great service, the manager is involved, catemba on the menu and the food so yum!!
Many dishes to try out so we'll be back.

Recently decided to give this a try. Nicely set out, spotlessly clean and fantastic service. The owner, I think her name is Carin, is exceptionally friendly Had the creamy calamari and the jalapeno poppers for starters. The poppers were great, very tasty and just enough of a bite, the calamari.….hmm...not so great. The calamari was a tad rubbery and it looked like the sauce had split. Also I thought the portion was a little meagre for the price....8 fairly small calamari rings.
On to the main course. We each had a platter, my wife had the special, the Mom's platter, I had the standard seafood platter for one. Once again, the grilled calamari was rubbery. The prawns my wife had were juicy and succulent, mine however were not so good. They looked a little grey and were very dry. The rest of the platter was fine. Very tasty hake, squid heads, mussels and plenty of veggies. Very well presented and looked really appetising.
I probably should have said something on the night...but my wife was upset about something else ...so decided to rather just leave it.
We'll probably give it another try.….
This is a really great unsuspecting restaurant. The food is really tasty. I've tried numerous dishes on the menu, from seafood to meats. They all good. The drowning prawns are top notch and really enjoy the espetada. Staff are very efficient and friendly as are the owners. Give them a try.
Verry pleasantly surprised, lovely atmosphere and staff, friendly with a sense of humour making you feel at home. The food is amazing better than expected. The prawns was top shelf and the steak melts in your mouth!!! Defnitief a must try!
2nd visit, food was exceptional from starters to mains, 8 people 8 different meals from curries to prego's all brilliant, staff and management fantastic and the jet master topped it all off not to mention the complimentary shooter at the end of the evening. Definitely be back.

The owner is present and is very hospitable and friendly, which always makes a big impact on us.
The staff were equally accommodating and knowledgeable, and really spoiled us.
As expected the menu offers many traditional Portuguese dishes and seafood options.
We appreciated the good service and excellent food, and will be back.
I had a seafood take away platter and boy it was good. It needed a little seasoning and the prawns were treated well enough that you can taste that they were prawns. Fish was delicately grilled and the calamari and calamari heads were done real good. I think that a little bit of extra garlic and chillies would have hit the dish right home.. very good tasting food.. thrilled to have found a Portuguese restaurant in my neighbour with good quality food.. a real gem
I have been a few times at this cozy Portuguese restaurant, with a Mozambican flavour. The chicken is moist, beef is tender and the sauces are very tasty. I will most definitely recommend this restaurant.
Cosy portuguese restaurant in a quiet suburb. Simple tasty dishes, brilliant service. Recommended. A date in the diary to re-visit this little gem.
