Review Mugg & Bean - Kempton Park

Eleanor was very friendly, we had specific dietary requirements, she offered us the choices we had what we could have instead. I found that incredible meant we weren’t lost as customers if we had to move on to another place. She is very good at up selling which was to our detriment but hey she did it in an easy manner.

No matter how busy this branch is, their service and quality never disappoint. Their service is quick, and food is always fresh. Love stopping here for a quick cuppa and cheesecake 😋

Stopped by the airport location for some coffee and breakfast. Londie was my server and did a super job of finding me a breakfast sandwich at 3 pm. Super friendly and attentive. Great service at this location. I came back the next day for more and everyone remembered me and my order from the day before.

Staff is always fantastic. Today, Stella and Kamogelo at OR Tambo International Airport made my birthday special with a free slice of cake and cappuccino at the take-away section and their willingness and pleasant smiles💃🏽

Great service that is always friendly and efficient, which is ideal when travelling. I’ve visited this Mugg & Bean several times over the years and never been disappointed. The food is excellent, the options more than adequate for all palettes and it has comfortable seating with great views and places to charge devices.

They open early, 06:00, very helpful, especially with some international flights arriving before 05:00! The Crew is cheerful and if you are lucky, you may get an attentive waiter. The food is hit or miss.. It's either wonderful or just so-so, as is the coffee. Overall a good bet when transiting through OR Tambo International Airport. The restaurant has a little parking space for the luggage.

Food was pretty good, unfortunately coffees were not fantastic, although beautifully presented! My salad was very tasty but had more toppings than lettuce. If was in town again would most likely come here again. Food portions are very generous.

The food is good, service is good, just it definitely should get wifi for customers. Its the ideal place to sit and eat, drink coffee while working before and between flights, but unfortunately have to go next door for wifi if not having roaming or SA simkaart

This Mugg & Bean is a great place to relax whike waiting for a flight. The service is amazing and the food is top quality. My waiter Jean was wonderful, he was friendly and an absolutely great waiter!

Friendly staff and good food in the domestic departure restaurant, although a little slow in fulfilling our order and one meal was cold (which should have been hot). The international departures restaurant was great (photos attached).

What has happened to our restaurants. This Mugg and Bean is by no means a bad one. The food is good and the service efficient and friendly, but there are some things to be said about having lunch while someone sweeps under your table and bumps your legs with chairs at the same time. That is annoying at the best of times. While I'm eating is not the time to be sweeping under my table. It's also not the end of the day, so it makes it even worse. The problem here is management. Surely you should know better than to let someone do this or even worse, schedule the task for them to do at this hour. Time and a place. This was neither.

I ordered a Croissant with cheese and preserves. When you have a product like a Croissant, that has been perfected over hundreds of years to incorporate thousands of flaky butter and pastry layers to puff up, and crisp up. You then take it and press it flat in a toaster, with extra butter destroying everything a Croissant stands for, resulting in a oily, stodgy piece of dough. If you want to serve quality food please respect your ingredients and food items.

Mugg and Bean (franchise) you totally suck!! You have removed the only vegan option from the menu.

An franchise icon, and well established concept. Sometimes portions just unnecessarily large and to much. Service is average, and seldom one meets a hands on manager that greats, chats and followsup.

I normally like Mugg and Bean... But why can they not make a decent cuppacino here at the airport .. The fist try was a very bad copy of a latte. The second attempt was not much better. But could not argue any more .... And they dont stamp loyalty cards....

Even food on the plane is better than this Airport M&B
