After walking out of another coffee shop bar, we walked into the Craft Brewers.
Met by a friendly hostess
We were directed to our table
Lorraine served us, straight forward and efficient
We ordered the burger, fish and chips, soup
The patty was excellent! Home made moist and flavoursome. The batter on the fish was crisp and not oily
The soup was great
We tried the tasters beers... ok, nice variety
Overall efficient and enjoyable experience
An extremely pleasant and friendly environment..will wholeheartedly suggest the Airport Craft Beer selection Olof ones indecisive.. gives one 8x130 ml. For R60. Some are great others so so.
Great vibe and as much as I’m not eating .. the menu looks great.
I’ve been there 4 times with different people and have received great service from the time I step in. The hostess/host made sure we were taken care of, including putting our bag trollies aside for us (that was a really helpful service)
Once we got in, the waiters/waitresses have been attentive to our needs and all the times I was there, the food was good. Got great hearty salads which were enjoyable and satisfactory!
I recommend it for next time you’re stopping by at the airport.
Good food and beer. Good value for an airport. The tapas are really good.
If you love calamari you should try the one here. The sliders are good and could be improved with a sauce.
We shared the ribs but could have done a plate each.
Honestly, this is probably the only really interesting place to eat at in Joburg Airport that offers some private space. The other restaurants all feel quite crowded and rather mundane.
That’s why I went to ACB. They offer me a place to relax, a few beers to enjoy, and something to nibble on while I waited for my flight.
The beer tasting tray is delightful. You get to taste all the beers they have on tap (for only R50) and it will keep you busy for a while. I had a basket of chips as well and man it was tasty! Perhaps not the best thing to eat before a long flight, but I can’t say no to chips!
The service was extremely friendly and they had some good beers too. Great place to chill before a flight.

Headed through here on Tuesday evening to join a group of fellow foodies for a media review. I caught the Gautrain which got me free of traffic headaches, and I arrived early, and in a good mood having skipped all the traffic!
The only brewery that actually brews onsite at an airport - I loved how they had revamped the previously dark premises, concrete floors, light walls and wooden furniture, and a friendly, yet busy atmosphere.
We got our starters served to the table, which obviously came of their pub/snack menu and these were really good - I enjoyed the beef sliders and the prawn kebabs greatly.
We enjoyed tasting all the different beers, from Porter to Weiss and Pale Ale - they brew 6 beers and a cider on site.
The service was very slow, although the staff were very friendly, we were a big group of about 30 people, which is understandable.
By the time the food arrived I had to catch the train back, so got my Rump steak as a takeaway, and enjoyed it for lunch the next day at work. It was done perfectly medium rare - and the salad was plentiful.
I would pop in again when I am next at the airport and have some time to kill, but will possibly stick to the pub menu and the beers too! They also do breakfasts...

We had the opportunity to attend a beer pairing with ACBs launch of their new Winter Menu. Tasted a variety of beer and tapas, as well as a choice of main meal. Really enjoyed the beef sliders and prawn skewers (with pesto). As main I had the Red Pepper and Haloumi Burger - a great vegetarian option. My favorite beer must be the Porter! As the only brewery at an airport that I know of, this is a unique setup. The ideal spot to grab a quick bite to eat - and/or a cool craft beer. The service was a bit slow, but we were quite a large group to be accommodated at once. It was a complimentary meal.
Had some sliders and they were pretty good. Rolls was fresh and meats tasty, although would have loved some sauce with the fish slider. Was little dry. Cider was okay - not a lot of taste. Service was good and friendly.
This new spot of mine that I discovered is very great.
I have been there 4 times now. Brought people who also fell in love with the beer tasting thing and the great meat they make.

Amazing all round - we had some time to spare and glad we did it here! Food, drinks and service were all incredible!
The sliders were very good but could use a small portion of chips
