Just popped in for a quick coffee after morning exercise. Nice early morning atmosphere 'sitting on the pavement', watching bystanders going to work and others preparing for the day. Passed by later the day and it was packed for the late afternoon, early evening dinner. Seems like a very popular place.
What an absolutely amazing vibe for a Saturday morning. Paul the dj playing his records to frame an electric restaurant experience. An eccentric railway carriage to eat in, but we didn't go in there . The food was great. Eggs Benedict super yum. The service was amazing from all the staff. Every waitress took ownership of your experience. The supervisor Cerelia was on top form with her team, well done . Highly, highly recommend coming here when you make Kalkbaai your day destination.
A hidden gem, with a beautiful railway carriage to dine in. The food was perfect and the service was great. Highly recommend when you pass through. Fast wifi as well.

This restaurant serves superb food and cocktails. It wins hands down for comfort and an all round good time. If you have come all the way to Kalk Bay, I definitely recommend Sirocco Cafe for an amazing dining experience. They make their own pizza bases and have gluten free pizza bases too. I highly recommend their take on a vegetarian pizza which has mushroom, goats cheese, roasted garlic and truffle oil. The flavours are well balanced and delicious. If you want a meat option, the pulled pork pizza is recommended. They have a DJ that plays a fantastic vinyl set to add to the mood. The menu is simple with good pizza selections ribs, salad, fish and chips, a little pasta option and grilled chicken wraps. SUSHI is also on offer and its the freshest sushi in Kalk Bay. The staff are incredible. They are friendly, professional and a pure pleasure. There is a little deli/store section too which sells a small selection of organic veg and herbs, and basic 'corner shop' supplies. Another highlight is that they are open for breakfast too. You are guaranteed a great experience and I highly recommend this restaurant.
Excellent spot to have breakfast. The view and vibe is immaculate. I would suggest more variety on the breakfast menu. Service was great and food was good. A must visit.
Watched the SA Eng game here and it was epic. Great fun crowd and lovely staff. Definitely recommend! Didn’t try the pizza🍕 but it looked great. 😊

Excellent place with excellent pizza! Friendly staff, relaxed ambiance & awesome location! The pizza flavours were so well balanced even though not much topping, you able to taste the combination and taste each ingredient, which is not usually the case. So so good, highly recccommned and I suggest trying the mushroom, rocket, goat cheese and truffle oil pizza 🍕👌👌👌 thanks for having us was amazing
Wow, what a great experience. Pizza was exquite, soft and light base with just enough crunch, the ribs fell from the bone. Sushi, was on par.. Nice vibe. Keep it going guys loved the vinyl dj.. Good selections of music
Great food and friendly and efficient service. Our bad, tables away from the road was full so had to sit at a table along the road where car traffic comes past. It is what it is, no fault of the the restaurant
