A beautifully designed space. We visited for brunch - I’d seen a menu online and the prices seemed very reasonable. So, the prices are reasonable however the portion sizes are quite small. I would rather have paid a bit more for a slightly bigger portion. If you’re looking for a boozy brunch, they have a vast Bloody Mary station 😋 That said, the food was delicious. Service, excellent. Space, inspiring. Art & decor, awesome. View, stunning (especially in Jacaranda season). And I’d definitely return again for cocktails when the bar has an evening vibe and sunset view 🌇 +🍸🍹=👌🏻

What a classy little spot! Cocktails on point - Negroni done right, with a beautiful block of clear ice, with perfect balance! The best in Gauteng so far by far! Service was good and attentive, vibe was cool and location great. Will certainly be back for more. Well done team!

Mix Bar is the hidden gem within a members only club. Wait out the afternoon traffic, take in the spectacular view of lush urban forest of north east Johannesburg while enjoying a cocktail over cool beats. If you get peckish I'd recommend the Sirloin special if they have it otherwise the chicken tenders - both cooked to perfection & delicious. But the real perk of visiting Mix is the service, which is members only standard. Highly trained waiters, attentive without being overbearing who offer good recommendations based on your mood and palate. Also look out for their specials, as a gin lover I appreciated the double Monkey 47 & tonic at +/- R90 (Jan 2019).

Kopano Jazz band Wed nights, amazing, cozy, luxury venue, excellent service, delicious food. Divine experience everytime.

If you are in the Rosebank area, Mix Cocktail Bar is a definite must after work, around 4pm. And eclectic mix of people and impeccable decor to compliment. The staff are super professional, the drinks are great and the bar menu is awesome aperitif before dinner. And the view is remarkably stunning, so you’ll enjoy the sunset while sipping on your beverage.

The STAFF makes this place!!! I am new in Johanneburg and i have visited this bar a few times, the waiters and bar man ROCKS this place.... The setting is very nice as i am a smoker there is a smoking area available to not disrespect the non smokers. The cocktails are from out of this world - The BEST The wine list had various wines to choose from which makes it interesting, i normally have the Rijks Chenin Blanc from the Tulbagh family in Cape Town. I haven't tried the food menu so cant recommend anything. I will most defo be visiting this bar once or more a week, every week. Keep up the GOOD work Manager and by keeping your staff happy to keep me happy :-)

The floors are very slippery, do not wear heels when you visit this place. Otherwise great place even though it was a farewell party. Not sure what it's like on a regular day.

Venue is amazing and spacious. Drinks menu, a wide variety and will suit any palate. Old fashions were amazing and the vibe, chilled, vibey and classy. Will definitely be returning in the future.

The newest addition to the MESH offering, a very trendy rooftop bar - partly under roof and part open to the skies. It also doubles as a gallery, exhibition space and events venue. Great for sundowners but with a slightly more limited menu that it's older sister downstairs. The bar doesn't take cash.

Very chilled relaxed setting where creative minds get together during the week to engage. The prices and quality are comparative to the rest of the establishments in the area (RRR) but the relaxed setting, good service and great atmosphere make it worth it.

The cocktails here are the best!!! Bartenders are great and they small plates are tasty! Highly recommend to anyone looking for something upscale and intimate.

Was charged R90 for a tiny cuppacino (supposedly it was the bit of amarula in it that justified this price) frankly my friend and I were tricked into buying these as the waiter and manager offered them to us several times before we had even sat down then they faffed and fumbled when we asked about the price or to see the menu. Eventually we just ordered them and were slapped with a big bill (clearly a tactic they try use to coax you into buying the most expensive thing on their menu). The food was also extremely bland and minimal for the price. Won't be back.

The waiter was clueless and they did not have half the wine on the menu! At a cocktail bar?! Food was also over cooked and generally awful. Vegetarian taco in a poppadom! Salt and pepper squid was like coleslaw squid!

Hosted a surprise dinner for a friend here. The lady who helped make the reservation was very prompt in her communication. I was excited about the drinks, based on the reviews I had read.<br/><br/>Ambience: One of the most beautiful and tranquil places I've been. The art pieces are beautiful. The music they played was also great, they played "old" songs which made me nostalgic, which added to the feel good vibe there.<br/><br/>Service: Our waiter Lovemore went above and beyond. He helped me set up the things I had brought along. He paid attention and came to check on us repeatedly.<br/><br/>Food: We ordered the platters, and I enjoyed the coleslaw! It was so good. I was however disappointed by the cocktails. For the prices they charge I thought they'd be wow. I ordered the twerk juice which JUST tasted like Watermelon juice and ended up drinking coffee and hot chocolate for the night. My friends settled for the gin and tonic.

My husband and I were looking for a good’ol soulful house sessions and a chilled Friday, the music is the reason we checked the place out but the food is amazing we had the meat platter ...small portions but you do get full.The service was good and friendly stuff.

There are very few places in Johannesburg that cater for after-work drinks well. Mix Cocktail Bar is your answer to a chic haunt and a diverse range of drinks. If you also want to get away from the hustle and bustle of Sandton, and give malls a "hard-no" - you will love Mix. They also make a great brunch on Saturday, which you must try with mimosas of course.

Mix Bar as Mesh Club has had a complete revamp - I was super impressed with my creativity of the food and the sublime cocktails mixed by the amazing Devin Cross! I absolute love the Italian 75 - never thought I'd be a sucker for olive oil and gin, but it's a complete treat. While the cocktails may attract you at first glance, make sure that you try out their tapas menu which is a mix of Japanese and French flavours. Definitely recommend this spot for an intimate date night or evening with the girls!

The Barman’s service is impeccable. I was here last week and again yesterday- he remembered exactly how I like my drink. It’s a shame I can’t remember his name.

This place is not surely one of the places to go out for food but if you go out for drinks then surely try the variety of gins available here with the food also the blueberry mojito here is just awesomely mixed and made.

I went to Mesh for an event and I loved the place! It was beautiful and had a good vibe! The only reason why this isn't a 5/5 rating was that the food on the night was Asian cuisine- not a fan that. But the few things I had was really good. The waiters and bartenders were excellent. I had the most amazing drink- a blueberry mojito, it instantly became my favorite. Would definitely go back and try other things on their menu.

Booked tables at this venue 2 weeks in advance for my birthday, despite reading the reviews about bad service - thought I'd give them the benefit of thhe doubt since the lady I dealt with seemed very professional and on the ball. Arrived and the tables were not set up nor reserved even though the waiter knew about the booking. We waited while he vacated the tables and pushed them together only on our arrival. The chairs were not enough and we rustled up some chairs ourselves as more guests arrived. Our food order was mixed up - the waiter got the order wrong and then told us the kitchen was closed so he could not bring us the remainder of the order, even though we had to change the order because items were out of stock. I waited a good 30min for a cocktail, while everyone else at the table received drinks - had the place been packed I would've understood but it was not . Drinks orders were gotten wrong on more than one occasion, and the waiter was missing in action for a great deal of the time considering the limited amount of people there. That being said, the concept of the place, the decor and layout is great, and the food we did receive was delicious. The service let this place down.

First Thursday led me here with a group of friends after work. Pretty great place. There's a members only area that I'm keen to get access to someday. <br/><br/>Great selection of gin. The food menu is a little thing but I suppose this isn't the place you go to for a great meal.

For Friday after-work drinks, Mesh Club is quite the sophisticated and trendy spot to be. A class above the rest! DO note, they are a paperless restaurant so if you don't have your card with you, you're a little screwed. <br/>It is a bit pricey, cocktails start at about R110 but its an absolute treat!

Keyes mile looks so good! We went to Mesh for late night drinks (which is the best time to go). It's a beautiful place with yummy cocktails. <br/><br/>Only thing is it's a tad expensive and we didn't enjoy the music. Other than that it's a great place to host birthday drinks or to hang out before going out!

If you are looking for a classy venue for a drink then Mesh is a gem.Outstanding service, skilled bartenders and lovely decor. Will deffinately be back!

Exclusive bar and very up market. Amazing decor and beautifully designed. Love the theatre and meeting rooms, a different take of corporate space. The downside is that the service is very slow and the drinks super expensive. Your comparing with European prices but in Jozi.

Went to Mesh before heading to Marble for dinner.<br/>Decor is amazing, modern and stylish befitting of a venue much higher up and will be at home in top end hotels Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Singapore, London.<br/>Service is slow and drinks are expensive but you do get the theater of cocktail glasses being smoked on the bar and presented in a box with it floating in the middle. That said, some venues in CT have been don't that for years. <br/>Go for the super premium ambience but there are better spots for cocktails and sharing an evening with friends, especially if business isn't involved.

Beautiful place, I don't know how I never knew of this place. Love the concept and it's a perfect place to have a meeting and a sundowner afterwards. I love the fact that, they will even make you whatever cocktail you want even if it's not on the menu. To top it all, the champagne cocktails are made out of real champagne and not sparkling wine. The whole concept for the establishments in the same building to feed off each other is brilliant cause even though MESH Club don't serve food, they will still recommend restaurants in the building and even offer to make table bookings for you.

This place has got a lot of style with a sprinkling of edge! From the moment you walk in, you know you're walking into a classy, modern and swanky establishment. The decor, the service, the ambience. It's all fantastic. I also love that they close the doors before it gets even close to being full. There are couches, tables, a bar... a nice variety of whiskeys and gin. If you're looking to impress someone with something a little fancier than normal, this is the place :)

Pretentious. Expensive private members establishment. Good bar area, private meeting rooms and a models ramp as a centre piece. No menu but snacks come from Marble upstairs.

Went to Mesh for sundowners. Pretty much the best Old Fashioned I've ever had! Such a beautifully designed spot with a really unique selection of alcohol and cocktails. Definitely not your run of the mill cocktail bar, in the best way possible.

Grooviest bar in the area! Vibrant atmosphere, friendly, warm staff and chic decor. Most definitely a go-to and one to add to the list!!!!!!

I was fortunate enough to be invited to the launch of Mesh Club when it first opened but this review has taken quite some time to post because I was waiting for Zomato to list it.<br/> <br/>Since then, one cannot help but feel like this is going to be the 'place to be' for a very long time, and Jonathan has done an incredible job. <br/><br/>Plush, luxuriant interiors and a lounge resembling any that you will find hanging out at the members only clubs South Kensington, London. It also happens to be the perfect compliment to its neighbour, Marble.<br/><br/>*Recommendation: Ladies, finally a spot that you can really dress to impress for!! <br/>Gents, finally a bar and club that suites the high-end executive looking for somewhere a little more mature for their tastes.

Finally!!<br/>I love cocktails. Not just any cocktail, but the complex, sophisticated ones you get in places like PDT in NYC or Violet Hour in Chicago. Perfectly balanced, playful flavors, and presented in a way where you can get just a little escape when you are sipping them. <br/><br/>MESH has finally figured it out. This is hard stuff, as usually you get too much liquor, not enough liquor, too watery and almost always too sweet. Bars will use cheap knock-off syrups like Monin, bartenders will not know how to properly chill down a drink, or the location rushes a drink when it gets too busy to hit volume. <br/><br/>Add, to that an amazing space, centrally located in Rosebank, with and amazing view and it has become my new watering hole. <br/><br/>I have had one the best old fashion's, Martinis, and daiquiri in South Africa. Forget beer, forget wine, forget a G&T, let MESH help you understand what a great cocktail can be. <br/><br/>They are not the cheapest drinks in town, but for what you are getting it is a heck of a deal.
