I was here early saturday evening. Awesome vibe. Amazing music. Excellent fast and friendly service and just a great place to chill and unwind. The food is not the best then again I had pasta at a braai place because of my fast. So I will defs go back. Really really awesome place.

Jozi had it's pick of trendy chisa nyama's & Rivonia on Deck is definitely one of the best. Let's start with parking - car guards abound to help you find parking away from Rivonia Rd. Once parked & getting in you are greeted at the door by a waiter who takes you to a seating area. The lovely deck area is great for sundowners & the indoor area is nice when the nights are cold. The service is amazing. In all the times I've been there I've been impressed by how attentive the waiters are-even if you're just getting take aways. Lastly, the food. The food here is top notch. Quality chisa nyama food, with a good menu & a variety of African dishes. Whether sitting down or buying to go, Rivonia on Deck is a great addition to Rivonia's food & nightlife offerings.
I'm all about trying different cuisines. So recently when I visited Rivonia on Deck I tried out some Nigerian food.
Assorted Egusi with Semolina. The meat was very touch ( not sure if that's how it's suppose to be) but besides that I enjoyed my first experience.
The place was pretty dead, not much of a vibe and the service needs to be improved drastically

The service needs a lot of work however it is a very lovely place, I love the food, the kids areas is on point and the ladies that care for the kids are very good with kids. Just improve the service the bar is extremely slow and the poor waitresses get the slack for it. The restaurant as a whole is a complete 10/10 if not more for me.
Absolutely love everything about this place the music, food, atmosphere, makes it all worth it, you can bring anyone, your girlfriends, man, siblings it's awesome ❤️
