Wow!! All this time and I never knew the pizza was soo good!!!! Ive passed the shop many times!!! Only tried it once it became available on mr delivery. Its the best!!!!!
I don't normally go to the effort of writing reviews but this little Italian gem deserves 5 stars and a note to say the food here is absolutely delish!! Such a warm and friendly place too. Looks like a little take away shop but it's so much more than that!
Pizza is fantastic and the service is great. Had a mix up with our order, and everything was corrected within 5min of phoning. Thanks Petrone’s 👍🏻

Deducted a star from my original review. Our second delivery was even more mixed up than the last. Love the pizzas, they are delicious! But the quality control on what toppings actually end up on the pizza really needs work.
After developing the weird hobby of travelling the east for a decent pizza I was getting somewhat disheartened. I't pretty sad what us Edenvalers will accept as food. But praise the Lord that I eventually, after driving past 4 million times, decided to try Petrones. I ordered 3 pizza's, one for me, one for the beautiful lady and a third one just because one pizza is too much but also not enough. It's known as the pizza paradox. Impressed we were and they even delivered all the way to the concrete jungle that is ironically called Greenstone - It should just be called Stonestone. Well done Mr Petrone, I tip my hat to you.
Quaint little pizzeria - Had the best customised pizza and the service was incredible... very accommodating. Definitely a little hidden gem. Loved it.
I finally tried out this place and was impressed! Really enjoyed my pizza :) It was a little cold even though I came according to the time they said it would take but really worth it & will definitely go back!!
Definitely a returning new customer, pizza was really great. Can see why it's so popular. The pizza was prepared quickly and famously Wood fired up. The way it should always be Made.

Tiny little authentic Italian restaurant who make the best pizza in Joburg! My favourite is the Mediterranean. The staff are very friendly staff and the service is great.
Was very impressed with the takeaway pizza's that we had at the office for lunch with only crumbs left over so decided to treat the fam for dinner. Ordered pizza Giardino (brinjals, artichokes, peppers & olives), pizza Mediterranean (feta, sun-dried tomatoes, peppadews, olives & pesto), pasta Napoletana, brinjal melanzane & a Greek salad - ALL very authentic with lots of flavour. The meal was devoured. Will definitely be back to sample more of the menu!
Awesome amazing. Definitely the best pizza and pasta in the area. The service is first class. Very friendly owners. They definitely make you feel part of their little family. I highly recommend them.
Great Pizza. Avo was a little hard. Also slightly black. I cut the black off. (Maybe I'm picky)
Also slices break when you pick them up. Maybe slightly too thin.
But all in all...was great. Happy I tried it.
Awesome service, awesome food! I have never been disappointed with them! Today, their delivery vehicle was broken, but the owner told me they'll make a plan and so my lunch was delivered to my office quickly. Thanks guys!
