This was the closest Nando's to where we stayed at Westpoint Apts on Grayston Drive. The one thing that you would immediately notice about this particular location is the utter calm and serenity due to the comparatively lesser number of customers who patronize it as a sit-in and more often as a take-away. The second observation to a regular here would be the service - it oscillates between the sublime and the stupid.
Food is pretty much the same at Nando's all over. I always combine the different sauces - my usual is combining the Hot with the Lemon&Herb. The wedges are always a hit with the kids as well.
I'm a contractor on site at Benmore Gardens Shopping Centre and i commend Nandos Benmore for outstanding service, extraordinary friendly staff and gooood food. Ive been coming here everyday now and its been a pleasure. Thanks a mil
Popped in for a quick takeaway and was pleasantly surprised by a renovated, more spacious store. The different sections are clearly marked with signage. The decor is fresh and interesting. Service was good too. The food was tasty, typical Nando's fare.
A quick post work dinner at Nandos where we had nothing to fault. The ordering went quickly and the food arrived surprisingly fast. The manager I assume came around to check if we were satisfied which was reassuring! The food was delicious as one would expect from a Nandos.
This Nando's is always fast and always delicious. I like the Separate ordering and waiting areas, and when I do a large order over the phone the order is always taken down correctly and efficiently.
Nandos in Benmore really has made the effort when it comes to their interiors and as such, it stands out from most other Nandos that I have frequented in Johannesburg. It has quite spacious seating areas also, and the standard of service is decent.
On the occasions where I have picked up some food here, I have always found it to be on par with the Nandos standard.
I usually come to this branch during lunch time, and it's always crowded. I like the layout of this store. Each section from ordering, to collection point and seating - it's all spaced out nicely so it doesn't feel cramped. If you go during peak hour, and prefer to sit down, you have to wait for someone to leave as there aren't any empty tables. However, turnaround time on take out is quick. On one occasion I've been here, my lunch partner found her meal undercooked/chicken was pink, so it was sent back. I've never had to return any of my meals. Between the waitresses and store manager, they make sure you are ok. Good service.
This is probably one of the best Nando's in Joburg. The staff are incredibly friendly and ladies are often given a rose as they enter the restaurant.
The food is always fresh and doesn't take that long even on a busy Friday afternoon.
If you sit down to eat, you get given spicy peanuts to munch on while you wait for your food to come to the table.
You do have to order and pay at the counter when you arrive, but then your food is brought to your table if you choose to sit down.
This is my favourite Nando's outlet. It's spacious and they give you complimentary chicken livers, nuts and sherry (if you ask nicely) while you wait for your food. I've noticed that the chicken pieces here are slightly larger than at other Nando's. Food is delivered quickly whether it is to sit down or takeaway.
