Really delicious dinner, we had nachos, pulled beef tacos and a cheese stuffed burger. The most delicious fries too. The pulled beef was spicy and moist, certainly the best tacos I've eaten in Johannesburg. Great cocktails and virgin blueberry mojito was also a big hit. No space for the banoffee pie, as the portions are generous. Fabulous friendly service and a lovely atmosphere.

Fun, trendy, friendly, lively, chill...All the vibes this place has and it got the flavors to match. From service to food, everything is on point. Being from San Diego, I was surprised to see carne asada fries on the menu so far from home.
The drinks were top notch and they had some great experimental offerings. It always helps that they have a great mixologist on hand. Definitely makes for some fun exploring.
The food is definitely a true, honest fusion of Mexican classics with South African flair that is blended right. My wife devoured the carne asada fries to the point where i had to ask her to stop scraping the ceramic off her plate. The wings had just the right amount of spice and was filling. The chips and guac met my expectations and being topped with chili powder was a treat.
Overall, I would recommend this great establishment to anyone in joburg wanting a delicious and chill dinner experience and who can make it out to Maboneng. These guys know exactly what they are doing and offer a much better product than even Perron and any other Mexican establishment in the city.
Funky and vibey place great for cocktails and food with friends. But let's talk about that food... Mexico meets South African flavours, more traditional salsa, guac and chips with spicy meats that have a distinctly familiar taste. The wait staff are friendly and cute to boot. A definite place to check out in trendy Maboneng
