This is my mini heaven corner at Rosebank. I've had all their cakes and I left all the people i brought with me each time, hooked as well!
I find it as a great place for first dates and dates in general. Except most of my male friends find it a bit off because of the pink. But otherwise, they all agreed it's a pretty cool place to be romantic.
Their cakes are well presented, moist, with the correct cream balance and taste. Their coffee is just as amazing. The service, excellent!

This cute little outlet in Rosebank greeted us with smell of the freshly baked cakes. Popped in here after lunch to pick up my favorite Carrot Cake.
The cake slice was generously big and delicious. However, I would ignore the fact that the prices here were a bit expensive when compared to the other outlets as their Carrot Cake was the best in JHB.
Overall,totally loved this place and would be back to try their macaroons.

AWESOME CHOICE OF MACAROON FLAVOURS. Wow! I'm still in awe! I think the choice selection was about 10 different macaroon flavours if not more! Also I got served by this really nice guy who suggested the most popular flavours although it should be my choice. Man, that's the best pastry spot in Jhb , surely ? Love it there!!!!
This little spot in Rosebank is a nice touch to the mall. The croissants are yummy and fresh. Pity that the service is a bit slow, even though the resturant is empty. Coffee is nice. Enjoyable place for a coffee and piece of cake or desert.
Popped in to the Patisserie with my mum for a quick cup of hot chai tea which was really tasty. I will definitely be back to sample the delicious array of baked goods decorating the store.
I stop here for Macaroons mostly. The display cabinet is always tempting as I walk past. The store is small but fully packed with yummy treats. i haven't tastedthe cakes from this branch but I've bough a mixed selection for a housewarming tea. They have a mix of tarts, pastries and cakes. They all looked good and my guests enjoyed them thoroughly.
On the two occasions I've been to the patisserie in rosebank I was both enchanted by their diverse selection of cakes and baked goodies. Definitely not a place for one on a diet.
The first time I had their lime velvet cake which was moist and tasted of lime and cream cheese
The second , I'd ordered a birthday cake and while I waited I had a cappuccino which had a thick head but was strong and freshly roasted.
Disappointing though we're their macaroons which were dry ( no squishy center ) and somehow lacked flavor.
The cake however exceeded my expectations bec I asked for extra cream cheese on a vanilla sponge. The cake was light and moist and was devoured by all our guests with gusto.
Cute spot indeed, had "lavender" macaroons a few weeks ago.. lol never would've thought.. I like how they look hard but melt in your mouth and stuff :)

Ambience = 4. Awesome ambience typical of patisserie shops. Stripes, cakes and candy. All things sweet and wonderful...😎
Food = 3. Ordered a sunrise brekkie - poached eggs, bacon, raw tomato with basil garnish and toasted rye bread. Nice and light and enjoyed it heartily. Generous serving of Rooibos tea completed the experience.
Service = 3. Didn't know who was actually serving me, but it was there.

The shop is elegantly decorated and the staff is very friendly and accommodating.
All the displays look beautiful! Food is of high quality and plenty to choose from, but on the expensive side.
My favourite is the apple cake which is very rich and delicious. In the Patisserie it is served warm with cream but I actually preferred it more the next day at room temperature.
I will be back!
