Shallow Waters is by far the best chinese restaurant ever. I was absolutely devasted when u moved from Aberton!! Do u think i can find a place that makes west rolls like u do?? Haha NOPE!! Besides the best sushi in town yr Chinese meals were devine!! Wish u guys never moved but things are not always what we want!!

By far the best Crispy Chicken and sushi I have eaten. Will suggest this to anybody. Friendly staff and so nice to sit outside and eat.
Pretty darn good Chinese take-away. Look, you should never expect "authentic" Chinese food - our understanding is a bizarre western abomination. But, I love it.
The sweet-n-sour pork was great. The batter might have been a bit thick, but the actually bit of pork (not pork mine) and the MSG laden sweet-n-Sour sauce kept me wanting more. We also tucked into the beef hot pot (yum) and you have to have to have to order the veggie spring rolls. Not only are they're massive, but the cabbage inside almost has an Indian note to it - very nice.

Had the crispy sushi, rainbow rolls and the crispy prawns, and the food was amazing! Great service on top of that! Will definitely make it a regular stop!
Never been disappointed by the service or food! I love Chinese food and ‘Shalow Waters’ serves up some of the best - their beef and oyster sauce is always a winner.
The service is quick, so you don’t have to worry about a rumbling tummy - they’ll quickly serve you up with some scrummy dishes!
Wow, wow, wow! What an awesome place! The waitress is very sweet and helpful. The music is fantastic. The food is on another level. Forget every other Chinese restaurant. This food was perfect. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. Every dish was phenomenal. From the dimsum starter to the deep fried ice-cream dessert. Let me not even start on the portions! Never have I ever been to a restaurant where there is more vegetables and meat than rice or noodles! A definite must try. I will never go to any other Chinese restaurant again.
The strangest looking spring roll ever, but packed with incredible flavor and the perfect veggie to meat ratio. Great sushi portions and very friendly staff. See you soon!!
Great atmosphere. Good service. And a large menu that they manage to pull off well. Some more experimental items for those tired of the usual, but also many tried and tested dishes. Worth a visit.
Been wanting to try this Chinese restaurant for a while... well it delivered in the taste box and portions. The menus and decor are somethings that need a huge refresher and update. Service is extremely fast so try make them slow down between courses. For starters we had the typical chicken and corn soup, was perfect in flavor and one bowl certainly serves two as a starter. The crispy beef was almost as good as Swallows, a tad on the sweet side, but still a good second place. I had the chicken chow mein... my word... enough to feed a family of four. Stunningly cooked, tender chicken and an assortment of fresh veggies, perfectly seasoned. We rounded of a magic meal with deep fried ice-cream and a bow tie with green tea. What can I say, besides the ice-cream was a scrumptious treat... topping the evening off with silly conversation and masses of laughter... oh sit in the booths just to laugh at your guests getting in and out.
Ordered take-aways from this restaurant a couple of times and have NEVER been disappointed. The food is always fresh, Crispy beef being my favourite. The staff are always friendly with the owner paying particular attention to your order. I can definitely recommend this restaurant, you will not be disappointed. There is a Sushi bar as well as an outside dining area on the deck.

Shalow Waters was recommended to me by a good friend early last year. Since then I've never gone anywhere else for my monthly sushi! Absolutely love this place and the affordable prices too!
I love Chinese food so of course this is my favorite restaurant!
They have the most exquisite food not to mention awesome waiters. The manager is hands on making sure everything is perfect.
I'm not sure if they still have it but they have a buffet on a Sunday which includes a selection of sushi, Chinese dishes, spring rolls and soup. I can't remember the exact price but I know we didn't pay more than R200 p.p.
