I frequent Kashif's for their one dish that I absolutely adore 😍😍😍 the peshawri ghosht, this is theee best I have ever had anywhere. The meat is spiced perfectly, tender soft and literally melts in your mouth accompanied by mean, sandals and tzatziki - yummy. Hubby had the stuffed fillet and enjoyed it too. Masala tea was good too. Go try it out.

Excellent menu not your typical Indian food. Service was outstanding and waiter attended to us with attention. Steak was cooked to perfection and the chicken we ordered was spiced as we like it

Restaurants in Fordsburg have a high turnover rate but Kashifs is one of those that has stood the test of time. What I like about the menu is that it consists of a variety of fusion dishes and unusual dishes that you won’t find everywhere else. My personal favourite dishes are the Peshawary Ghost with naan and the deli ice cream or tira misu for dessert. Read more here: bit.ly/2pLWI8K

Some of the best Indian food I had. The manager made a special dish for me and my wife that was not on the menu. That was really special. The Terimasu was the best I had in many year but the second time I had it a few months later, it wasn't as good as the first time. The home made icecream also very good.

I love the food and the enormous variety available but find it a bit over priced especially for the venue it is located in. This place had a great atmosphere when it opened but the crowds have since dwindled and you are often the only person dining! Still a great eating experience though

I visited Kashifs for the first time about 4 years ago during trip to joburg and haven't been able to stop thinking about it! Thank goodness we have since moved here and I can't wait to go visit again! Our food was fantastic! Loved the relaxed atmosphere and that there are no false pretences! Really excited to go back!

This is the first and definitely not the last time I will be here. The food is absolutely divine with the most unique spices and flavor. We ordered the prawn chow mein, chicken skewers, Durban spiced prawns and my fav onion rings. Hands down these are the best onion rings in Jhb. All the food was freshly prepared and amazing. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The service is also quite efficient. This is a great family lunch/ dinner place. Definitely a must a try! And it's worth going all the way to Fordsburg for.

One of my favourite joints in Fordsburg. The best King prawns I've had. I always have a platter as recommended by the waiters. The steaks and calamari are something else. My mouth waters as I think back of my pleasant experience. Endure to carry enough cash as there's lots to try out.
