I had my birthday brunch at this lovely place.Brunch under the willows, the best! I felt like I was out of the busy city.
It's the place to be if you want a quiet and relaxing space to enjoy your meal and company.
Sorry, no kids under 15 allowed, proper udults space.
The toasted sandwich with chips was nice - loved the chips, but overall the whole garden feels 'empty' - bland, not a lot of atmosphere.
From the second you drive in you are made to feel welcome. What a friendly place. Then when you walk into the gardens you're greeted with bird song and a flowing river. We ate breakfast under the trees and it was fabulous. The breakfast was delicious, we had flapjacks. The iced coffee was perfect. Thanks for a wonderful experience and to the lovely staff.
Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Great food.
For a second I forgot that I was in Joburg. 😉

A hidden treasure that I would definitely 110% recommend! I’ve been there multiple times and never had a bad experience. Great service, great food, really affordable prices, and it’s just a really beautiful venue with gardens, a stream and a duck pond, weeping willows over the tables, etc. It’s amazing there! Do take note though, there is a rule that says no under 15’s allowed (which in my opinion makes it better, but that might not be for everyone).
Would highly recommend hosting your next function there. Everything is done right. Beautiful setting, efficient staff and centrally located.

We loved the tranquil atmosphere. Breakfast portions were generous and not badly priced. Staff were friendly and willing .We will definitely go back to try lunch. It's like a mini holiday away from the city in the middle of the city.
It was a beautiful setting, the only thing that I didn't like was the stagnant water odour from the pond.
Otherwise I will definitely go there again
It's like the Secret Garden come to life.
Such a beautiful space to hang out or just chill with family.
I also liked that kids under 15 are not allowed which was a bonus!
The food was lovely. (The creme Brule simply divine)
