My first time trying out Turkish food was from this place. Fantastic value for money and the portions are huge. Most importantly the food is delicious!
Authentic Turkish food. Good prices and big portions. Not much atmosphere but it's good. The Turkish mix plate for 3 is more than enough food.
Absolutely Delicious and and quality service, sides are free and fullfillng. try yummy Lamb chops and Adana and ofcourse the iskender. everything is fresh made that is the most charming part
Good turkish food and big portions have us popping by often to this spot. Its location can be a little off-putting but if you in the are do yourself a favour and give them a try. Their apple tea aswell as Turkish tea served with little goblets with a little sweet treat just add to the ambiance.

I'm pleased to know that a great restaurant has taken over the old train in Mint Rd. The menu is plentiful, the portions are larger and the prices are extremely reasonable. No food (of this type) rivals this for price. The best part of this experience was the service; the food came quickly and the waitron was outstanding. A definite must-try.
Note that no alcohol is served.
Best doner/shawarma in Jozi.
Don't come here the decor. Don't order pizza or steak or burgers. It's all about the doner meat. They serve it with a plate full of bread, dips and fresh stuff. Amazing. Ask them for no chips and finish it off with Turkish sweet tea.
Went there for lunch today..was pleasantly surprised..the food us really really good tried three different kebabs and all were delicious..variety of salads, chips rice and roti come with the main..great value for money..
I was taken here as a belated birthday celebration by a good friend. This was a great experience and for me a new taste experience. Although this is a non alcoholic restaurant, it added to the atmosphere of calm for those who were there for the quality of food and not a night out. We ordered a platter which was inexpensive taking into account the quantity delivered. The food was extraordinary compared to any wrap or shawarma restaurant I have been to. What adds to the experience is the fact that you can build your meal according to your preference. I also had their salty milk drink ( Lassi ) for the first time in my life and can honestly sy that I have started googleing for recipes, this drink might not be for everyone though.
Pleasantly surprised by this place! Walked in not expecting too much - waitress appeared to be first day on the job and there were 2 separate menus. We ordered the chicken fillet kebab and the chicken wing kebab, both "not hot". Two massive plates of food arrived - meat, selection of salad, chips, rice and naan.
Phenomenal value for money - fillet kebab was R65, wing kebab was R85. Tasty, delicious and not hot at all - as per our request. Yoghurt raita was delicious, chips were yummy and naan was light and fluffy.
Despite the average setting and underwhelming ambiance, the food will definitely have us coming back again.
